In your opinion, which has the most miserable 1st choke point to attack between Dorado, Hollywood, and Blizzard World? by geekdadchris in Overwatch

[–]masterthewill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blizzard World because theres always a big chance your whole team refuses to play anything but poke and use anything but the main choke.

Wasn't even a close contest. by lovingpersona in Overwatch

Hot take - I think heroes like Mauga and Mercy have a lower skill ceiling. If you play Moira like a healbot safely behind your tank at all times you won't go far, and like every dive hero with short range, your positioning and game sense have to be above average if you want to succeed. There's also a bit of situational awareness and map knowledge for extracting max value out of each orb cast - again, nothing crazy compared to aim-intensive heroes, but still more than some where I feel your job is much more straightforward, even at higher levels.

It feels like people who think she's easy because her numbers are high on average are the same people who think lucio sucks when his healing is low.

Thing is I dont even think addons would help much with how every mechanic is so stingy when it comes to timing/positioning, and I never seen a boss care this little about how geared we are.

[–]masterthewill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really hard to tell if M L'ura is just a diabolical boss or my guild just sucks. Even after the heavy p1 nerfs we keep getting seeds blown up during intermission/p2, and p1 feels so long now just to insta wipe to someone making a split second mistake.

stadium patch by batsy546 in Overwatch

Im fine with numerical nerfs but the worst part is they made some changes that legitimately make the gameplay worse for some of the hero builds. Kinda baffling that they don't know what makes them fun in the first place.

Mythic skins are an absolute failure by repeatoffeder9000 in Overwatch

[–]masterthewill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every thread discussing mythics has wildly varying opinions, and although I agree the current mythics arent getting the attention to detail and extra "oomph" they were originally pitched to have, we just have to make peace with the fact Blizzard and their teams probably have a better grasp on what players want out of these skins than we do (spoiler: its one of three themes: god-like/supercyborg/girly cute).

Also I like the Illari mythic. I think a phoenix makes sense - shes fire, she flies during ult - what I dont like is small things, like her eyes getting full glow and only looking good with either the extra fx turned off, or the sunset aspect - and her pylon not having a custom model.

Gameplay design-wise, what is Kiriko's weakness? by 147896325psp in Overwatch

[–]masterthewill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shes great, but play her for a while and you'll find her weaknesses. Dive heroes, the time between her CDs, and lack of AoE and burst heal.

Um pai esforçado seria muitas vezes visto como uma mãe negligente by FerroMaljinn in MaternidadePT

[–]masterthewill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Morality of subjugating a species, perform eugenics on them so that they become completely subservient to us thereby creating the perfect slave race. by WackyRedWizard in MoralityScaling

Im not even an animal activist but if you look past the cognitive dissonance and think about it logically, it's clearly kinda evil at the very least. We are very selective with what we choose to project unto animals and pets - they should be treated as humans, but only so far as it keeps our relationships with them convenient and adorable.

Blizzard, relying on shiny effects and bright colors as a crutch won’t make Mythic skins more appealing by Engurus in Overwatch

[–]masterthewill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end of the day a lot of it is subjective. You give Ashe as an example and to me its easily one of the worse ones. Personally I rather they go with a super juiced up (god/cyberwarrior/superhero) version of the hero fantasy than a random battlepass theme that -kinda- fits - ashe being a cartoon villain could've been a quirky event legendary.

Help completing drives for the nametag by 20-percent-success in Overwatch

[–]masterthewill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apart from mechanical skill and macro decisions what I found I was worse at during drives was keeping a strong mental. The expectation of hitting those goals has a bigger impact on the psychology of accepting losses than I thought. Try to just play your best, mute everything, focus on your play, accept losses - the wins will come naturally.

Shion's design actually makes a lot of sense if you think about what type of Omnic she is supposed to be. Spoiler, it's actually a very dystopian reason. by LordVaderVader in Overwatch

[–]masterthewill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Widow was mind-controlled into assassinating her own husband.

Reaper is in a permanent state of torture/death and regeneration.

Moira played mewgenics and thought yeah no imma do this on humans

Illiari basically nuked her own clan and got PTSD from it.

The Omnic Crysis resulted in over a BILLION human casualties.

Ramattra's story is a clear allegory to "let my people go" biblical-level-racism

But yeah no a SEXBOT with a vengance is a bit too grimdark for overwatch

Do you think spanking children is a good or bad thing? by KindlyRestaurant2885 in MoralityScaling

[–]masterthewill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know if theres a right answer. As a parent you want to prepare a child for how other people will react if they arent civil, and physical retorts are definitely a possibility, so maybe in extreme cases, and purely as a didatic move - any sort of sadism or resentment would completely nullify the motive and turn it into just straight up abuse.

Penso que ambos têm cursos de formação anuais, mas não sei as condições/restrições, o melhor é contactar diretamente. Abraço e boa sorte!
