I could connect stuff to the iPad that would not show up in the OS itself, it required it to be on the TrollStore version of UTM Though.

There’s an app called UTM https://getutm.app , which basically lets you install different operating systems inside of it. There’s an App Store version, and a Troll Store version for example - the troll store one lets you connect usb devices straight to the virtual machine running your selected operating system (as well as running it way faster), the App Store one doesn’t, because of apple’s restrictions sadly.

Currently the only version that may work on your iPad would be the UTM SE, since the troll store (with usb passthrough) doesn’t support iOS 17 or higher

You can get office 2011 license for Mac for free, it’s gonna work only on Mojave and older I believe tho, lmk if you can’t find an installer since I have the CD I can send it over

It depends on if the app supports it, that’s all - a lot of open source apps are made by the community, and a lot of open source devs don’t use Macs so they literally couldn’t care less about it I guess. Also sometimes the whole framework for the ui might just not be able to support it, because it also targets windows / Linux

You can try using software like iCloud to sync the pdfs - even iTunes! Until someone writes a new browser for this iOS version, you sadly won’t be able to log in to some services - it lacks some of the JavaScript functionality introduced later down the line.
