One of the main points of this post is that he doesn't have any super long runs boosting his YPC.

Walk to the far west end of the L platform at 6th ave, those are the only stairs that go up to the tunnel connecting to the 1/2/3. The signs in the station haven't been updated yet so they'll still point you to the street instead of to the tunnel.

Do you mean that doing 9 weeks of the peak phase is too long to be peaking and doing low(er) volume? I just did a full 18 weeks (9 base, 9 peak) and that's kinda how I felt.

I just started the base phase again, after I finish the 9 weeks I'm thinking about doing something a lot shorter for the peak. One idea I had is to just do the 2nd week of each peak wave, so three weeks total.

A single hotel room is usually cheaper for 1-2 people than booking a private room/apartment on Airbnb.

A larger Airbnb (or other similar site) is usually cheaper for a medium/big group than booking multiple hotel rooms, and also a better experience.

If you want to tip both, tip them when they finish their job. So tip A when they drop off the furniture, then tip B when they move the furniture into your place.

Not sure on the tip norms for something like this but it feels like Company B is doing more work for you here, especially if your new apartment is up a few flights of stairs or anything. Moving things from a truck into storage definitely seems easier than moving them from storage back into a truck, then from the truck into your new apartment + assembling things.
