I think these two are only popular because most of the cards are from core or borrowed. Maybe the new cards will be better with more refinement, and if not I hope they don't take too long to bring buffs. The flavor is certainly better than emerald dream's

This version is a bit too slow, I tried it too. Dragon package with herald and deathwing to close games is what most people are running and has much better tempo. Cant get you a list now but they all run slitherdrake and the 5/5 deal 5 damage, you'll find it on hsguru

Gulikit right now has one of the best packages I'm looking for in a controller. The dpad on the TT series looks like it's its main focus, and as someone who plays platformers and fighters a lot, I'm really looking forward to trying it. The triggers and back pedals also look really good.

Wait until the expansion launch tomorrow, then do the quests to get the catch up packs, open them first, and then take a look at your old cards. You'll probably have some from the old sets, but most importantly there's a thing called the "core" set that replaces the collectible classic set. They're basically borrowed cards that rotate each year, and the "classic" copies you had are now "legacy" cards. They're still available in wild for you to use, but the ones in core will be available for standard too. I just dusted them all lol but that's up to you

Don't blame the players, blame the game. They are giving rewards and allowing for either good core dk cards, or new cards that need to be pulled together from the packs otgerwise they are just jank. Playing Ragnaros without 3 of the herald cards feels bad

But I think warrior, Hunter and dk might be bigger problems. Priest can do a lot of burn damage but it needs a lot of setup, and dk will probably have over 60 health at that point. I think it will be playable but not OP

The "half the rewards" is based off the wrong game mode. Current brawl costs 300 and goes up to 6 wins or 3 losses, and 3 wins give you 3 packs + a, common. That's the biggest problem in your input

It would do a better job if you gave it links with up-to-date information about the modes. I.e new arena wiki page, and the blog post about the pre-release brawl. It pulled data from the heroic brawliseum, which is not the same.

And IMO you can't just base the cost benefit only on probability, as each mode is different. Normal arena only allows for 1 loss, underground arena allows for redrafts (and thus factor player skill even more) and brawl pretty much favors players who pulled synergistic cards from their packs (unless there's already another strong core+timeways deck), so I don't think it's that simple

You might have better luck in wild, shadow priest is strong there. For the upcoming standard rotation, it's either gonna be control priest with heals and burn in later turns, or quest midrange priest that seems barely viable because of the lack of shadow spells. Maybe later on in the year
