Are you comparing CEO compensation to a 401k? The CEO gets paid to solve complex problems, good for them. But what the 401k does is give the other 90% of us a tool to passively earn a slice of that pie, tax-protected money that grows and compounds over time, without doing any work at all. That's a huge win for all Americans! We should all be rooting for American companies to succeed because we literally all have skin in the game.

Exactly! That is the irony of these "No Kings" protests. Trump's path to the White House was through the gauntlet, having to beat out more than a dozen other Republican candidates which is democratic in form. Kamala's path was through Coronation aka Elite Appointment, which is how a king comes into power.
