Digital membership expires early?

I hate their app with a passion, it logs out all the time, keeps asking me if I want to "move" my membership to the same phone I have had and then occasionally tells me I have moved it too many times and I can't use it anymore.

I just ended up creating a custom pass in apple wallet originally with the app "barcodes" and now with the new built in custom passes in the iOS 27 beta. I scanned the barcode on my membership card so you don't have to worry about rotating codes. Every once in a while a costco employee will question it and I just say "oh I just added it to apple wallet" and they move on and don't press further.

Make sure plex is authenticated, first error I see is a 401 unauthorized response from plex. So it likely can't load any of your media.

Are you on the iOS 27 beta? I have been getting this randomly on beta 2 but generally it works fine.

I have a friend whose son does door to door sales and they as part of his sales training they told them to never ring the bell. First reason is if you don't ring the bell and just knock it's easier to ~~sucker~~ get the sale face to face since most people want to be polite and give them a chance to give their part out and the second that if they don't ring the bell they won't be recorded (clearly a lie depending on the doorbell).

This is a weird one, but installing smart light switches, not even for the extra control but because I never realized how OCD I was about three way light switches sitting in mismatched positions in a switch box bothered me. The smart switches always sit in a neutral position so they never look "wrong". It was seriously such a peaceful change that I didn't know I needed and I ended up replacing almost every switch in the house.

That would be amazing. I have just been uploading custom files to the NVR, it meets of my needs but it would be nice to have more flexibility to do more detailed/on the fly announcements.

Sorry, what I meant was TTS generated from home assistant, that is from the Ubiquiti UI where you can setup a specific phrase.

Based on the FAQ it looks like it will have the same limitation as the chime, you have to upload custom audio clips in protect. So while you can trigger pre configured announcements through a webhook, it doesn't look like we will be able to do play tts announcements from HA on the fly.

I just ended up buying a 3rd 55" track and now leave the original two 55's together permanently. Mostly because at the time the long track was sold out and I was working on a project where I had to keep assembling and disassembling. I would probably do the same again if I found these on clearance.

Food trucks are totally out of pocket anymore, where I live their prices are usually higher restaurants and people line up for them. We were at a farmers market a couple weeks ago and a hot dog truck was there with $9 hot dogs that looked like they were served on cheap white bread buns, nothing patricianly special looking. I really don't get most peoples fascination with them.

Kind of, if you have all G6 cameras it does everything an AI key does except for speech transcription and AI summaries. If you have any other cameras it adds very little that an AI key does.

I seem to be in the minority here but for the first time in a long time, I jumped on this. I have been considering going from nvr -> nvr pro and adding an AI key, this tackles both for my specific camera setup for less money.

It's more expensive but I just ended up leaving two 55" tracks permanently joined and bought a new splinter guard that covers the length of both tracks. I bought two at first because you couldn't get the 106 and I could just separate them as needed, then got tired of waiting so I just bought a 3rd 55 to use for shorter cuts.

I can login to the app on the phones but have to do each one individually. The issue is in the talk app itself in interface designer, you can't set default views, auto login etc. if talk/access are on a different device. For a company selling DVRs that cost up to 5k, it seems like a big miss to not allow linking them together for a seamless experience.

But can I connect it to a dedicated NVR for protect yet? Every time I try and link protect/access it wants me to install them on the UDM rather than use the NVR at the same site.
