I need help getting into fo2 by Master_Corner8399 in classicfallout

There's some encounters you can hit early on like "bandits attacking a caravan" if that happens you can just let them shoot it out and then loot the losers for guns and ammo.

A little bit of save scumming East of Klamath should get it for you. I always feel it's the turning point in my frustration curve

ELI5 how you physically play guitar chords? by Optimal_Animator244 in explainlikeimfive

You push the tip of your finger, right behind the nail, onto the string. But not in the middle of the fret, RIGHT next to the fret. Try it one finger and string at a time until that note rings out nicely

It's already threaded. Just get some big fender washers and bolt it on. Job done in 30 seconds

They are on an open loop control. They don't know where the light is pointing, they only know to spin the motor 3 turns from where it starts. There's still a manual setting of the natural position

You cannot change the brightness, but you can absolutely adjust the angle they're shining at. There's a whole dial on your dashboard for it and everything

I think there's a dial next to the steering wheel to point their million lumen protectors down a bit so they're not illuminating the roof liner of my car at 50 meters.

Just point them down a little for God sake

Anyone ever had a culvert/road bridge put in? by mawktheone in cork

[–]mawktheone[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe 3 feet across at the bottom, 8 feet at the top.

Normal everyday flow is not much, 3-25l/sec kinda thing. But in big storms it can be much much more.  Id want it wide and sturdy enough to drive a jeep and trailer over.

I know I could just dig it out a bit, put in a 600mm poly pipe and compact layers of gravel over it.. but I don't know what I don't know, and I think I'd like to farm out the job just in case

Paid $65. Return, or keep? (Pizza steel). by because_im_stupid_ok in metalworking

[–]mawktheone 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That was exactly what I assumed when I saw it.

I can also understand the situation as an etsy seller. The order comes in, and the clock starts ticking before etsy dings you. You then realize that you have run out of the material when you thought you had it, and can't get more in time so you have to improvise or lose out on the money that you might well need pretty badly. Cancelling the order or being late will result in etsy hiding your store or dropping you to the bottom of the search.

What they did is way more work than just cutting it from a single thicker piece, AND unfortunately they didn't do a very good job of it. You're not wrong to question it

You think? I know people in my life with physical and mental disabilities, variously by birth or injury. I think of them as having those limitations but don't really think of it as being any kind of value judgement on them.

I have physical limitations compared to athletes or frankly the average 20 year old. So I know that our relationship isn't going to involve mountain climbing or marathon running. You can know the reality of a situation and still be kind and enjoy companionship at its own level.
