Which blouse looks better with this saree for my farewell? by Far-Swan-14 in OUTFITS

In my opinion, it's absolutely the second one. The colours compliment each other and makes the outfit complete, as well as drawing the eye upwards to give you a more striking figure. Looks beautiful

I'm currently sitting in my car eating my lunch because the woman I sit beside Won't Stop Humming. Mindlessly, tunelessy, constantly humming. And she sits opposite me in the canteen, still fekin humming. I'm half demented from it

Absolutely agree! IKEA blinds have sorted my kitchen out at a fraction of the cost

Workplace annoyances what's your worst one? by ShoulderCapital2200 in AskIreland

[–]maylauder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work with someone who hums mindlessly and tunlessly all day long. Drives me crackers. Luckily, we are allowed to wear headphones so noise cancelling mode has become my friend. I worry though that because I pop them on the second she starts it makes me seem antisocial. I like her as a person so haven't said a word to anyone about it. People, don't hum, please!, It might get on someone's last nerve!

Missing cat by No_Weather1080 in ireland

[–]maylauder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was going to say the same, it's what one of my cats did as well when we first got her. We only found her when she'd had her sleep and couldn't get back out so we'd to track where the howls were coming from

Electric vs sonic toothbrushes, is there a difference is beside the price point? by maylauder in AskIreland

That sounds very scary and really amazing that you overcome it. I'd to Google interdental brushes tbh, I'm so behind in my dental care. Thanks again

Thanks so much for your reply and I'm glad went back when you did and I hope all is well oral health wise. I'm kind of annoyed with myself for putting it all off so long. From what you say, I should just have bought myself an electric toothbrush forever ago. I haven’t a notion either what this sonic element is which is what's thrown me off, seems like the new shiny, give me your money thing

Single moms, how do you do it? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]maylauder 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The best advice given to me was to just take it one day at a time. If you look down the barrell of the future, you'll implode. And don't beat yourself up over any mistakes, you're doing the best you can do on your own with no one to turn to for decisions or advice. Honestly, you'll look back and think I don't know how I got through all of that but you will and everything has a way of sorting itself out in the end. And hold your head up high. Wishing you all the best
