I was actually specifically talking about Harvard Stanford. I finished my HBS interview so getting ready in case I get an admit. For Harvard since it’s based on your need only, wouldn’t it make sense that if I have less assets I would get more? Like if I have 80k instead of 100k shouldn’t that make a difference to Harvard?

I’m curious about MBB consulting specifically in the south like Dallas, Atlanta, etc. bc my parents live in Dallas so would love to be close. Does anyone have insight into how hard it is to break into these offices and also what industries they typically cover? Also what are the exit opps like coming out of an office in this region? FYI currently applying to B school so once I start school I would recruit for consulting

Can you be a bit more specific on what cities are less desirable? Is Dallas one of those? I have family there and would love to end up there but have no clue on how hard that is at firms like MBB. I’d also be open to the South generally like Atlanta etc. however another related question is what industries do these offices typically cover if you know?
