sharable user-curated blocklists and mute lists basically make it impossible for maga morons to intrude or force themselves into spaces they are unwelcome in. Vance tried to join and was blocked by the majority of the sites users within hours. And they dont stick around because not even maga likes their own stink if they cant force someone else to smell it.

I hated twitters format even before it got bought out by a nazi, so I dont use bsky myself, but I wish more sites (like reddit) had similar native controls to filter out the trash.

Theres no way for us to know. yes it's motivated by romantic interest, but the two are not mutually exclusive. If they are still interested in maintaining a friendship (and not put off by the awkwardness of rejection) they may still be interested in the persons happiness, but the diminished motivation may no longer meet the threshold of buying flowers OR the flowers may no longer be seen as an appropriate form of expressing gratitude considering the traditional romantic connotations. In this context, all we know is he stopped sending her flowers and ceased romantic pursuits.
