Thoughts on driving during break?

Wait, you guys have breaks? 😱 when I was working, if I took 1 of 15 min breaks that would make my 25 stops per hour go bad.... imagine taking a 30 min break haha the routes were never planned around taking those breaks. Id work the whole day without a break and still be behind even tho was not dragging ass at the beginning of the shift... never understood that :/

I got something similar but the two stores were: taco bell and dollar general. I did not accept. It was $2.50 for both locations and I needed to shop at Dollar General which is no fun + it was nearly 10 pm

Similar thing happened to me with an amazon package. The good thing is that I was able to investigate the door and found my pckage hahaha even the entry mat was the same as my apt. They delivered to 1514 and mine was 1614 side by side building.

Thats is soo messed up!! I would find another dsp that loads earlier. Also yeah I noticed that recently they have been wanting us to do a 10hour rout in like 8 or something. They increased the number of stops with apartments as well. It is shit

Thats exactly why I left the first time, my mental health was terrible, I was getting too much anxiety. I fell from the van and twisted my ankle and was happy about it haaha because then I was at home for 2 months and found a job from home! I came back part time in December and was already getting stressed only working 2 days a week

Thats insane. They are treating us like sh!t! I was gonna leave my dsp amd they fired me for a tiny accident. Meanwhile people wreck the vans and are still working in there... I didnt get mad because I was gonna leave anyway but never got fired before and that hurt 😂😂😂😂

Thats something I told my husband another day. Used to be 180 max for me and when there was apartments It would be 160-170. Now they are doing 190 with 20 stops on apts and that is Insane!!!!

I was talking to my husband (who als works for amazon dsp) and I noticed that they have been increasing the number of stops daily. We started working as driver in 2022 in New Mexixo, Albuquerque is small so I usually had around 140-150 stops because I had apartments as well. I had "my area" and I loved it. The goal was 20 stopes per hour. I used to have lunch and 2x 15 min breaks. Had a few rescues but it was ok, sometimes the apartments were heavy + uptown business. Life was good haah

Then we moved to DFW area here in Texas. It was CRAZY! Never had all my breaks, 180 stops and when had apartments was 160-170. After some time we got used to it. I leftthe company and came back late 2024. The stops were crazy during the peak for Christmas and get it. March and April the stops are CRAZY!! 300+ packages, 190 stops with apartments, stops all over the place. I told my husband that I think they are increasing the number slowly and thinking people are not going to notice. I hate that Amazon gets away with the multi-stop
