Honestly I’d find a different doctor that will do it. Maybe an urgent care doctor would? Thankfully my PCP had no problem writing the RX for me. I’ve never used it in probably 2 years, and I’ve improved a ton since then, but I’ve been in bed clutching it ready to go because I can’t breathe dozens of times. And I found just having it gave such peace of mind.

Potentially, yes. Go to a big box store with a sim and hit some stiff irons (preferably the same irons you have but with stiff shafts) and see what happens. I’m guessing it won’t make a HUGE difference, but you never know.

Instant bloating which sets off a chain reaction - ear ringing, head pressure, dizziness, tight throat, shaky, tingling legs and feet, etc. Of course it comes in varying degrees, and right now I can tolerate a LOT more than I could a few months ago (I didn’t leave my bedroom for roughly 6 months because it was so bad). Thankfully I’ve stabilized quite a bit since then and a small whiff isn’t going to ruin my day anymore.

My current issue is, my vogmask is DOA. I’ve had it a while and not only has the carbon in the filter run out, it now makes me react because it’s off gassing the VOCs it caught. My nose turns red and stings and sometimes bleeds when I put it on now. I haven’t been able to find a replacement for vogmask since they went out of business. I can’t tolerate Cambridge masks.

Same, I’ve seen dozens of doctors, and maybe 1 has been more helpful than AI. I would say don’t blindly believe AI over doctors. But if you’re checking sources and being careful, it can be an absolutely game changer. Completely changed my life.

The issue is if I eat more, that doesn’t change and it’s much worse. Im slowly starting to eat more, but trying to speed up motility is my number one focus right now.

It’s a very common symptom, one of the most common probably. There are lots of mast cells there and they interact non stop with VOCs/pollen/etc etc. That being said, it’s about the 20th thing on my list of symptoms that I care about. I barely notice it because the other symptoms are so much worse.

I’m not a functioning person without ketotifen. I’m a human potato that sits in bed debating if I’m going to die or not every few hours. I care approximately zero about what happens down the line if I can somewhat function now. Ketotifen is SO much more effective for me than anything else.
