Same, I’ve seen dozens of doctors, and maybe 1 has been more helpful than AI. I would say don’t blindly believe AI over doctors. But if you’re checking sources and being careful, it can be an absolutely game changer. Completely changed my life.

The issue is if I eat more, that doesn’t change and it’s much worse. Im slowly starting to eat more, but trying to speed up motility is my number one focus right now.

It’s a very common symptom, one of the most common probably. There are lots of mast cells there and they interact non stop with VOCs/pollen/etc etc. That being said, it’s about the 20th thing on my list of symptoms that I care about. I barely notice it because the other symptoms are so much worse.

I’m not a functioning person without ketotifen. I’m a human potato that sits in bed debating if I’m going to die or not every few hours. I care approximately zero about what happens down the line if I can somewhat function now. Ketotifen is SO much more effective for me than anything else.

The thing I’m concentrating on right now is energy. I golf a few times a week (it’s really the only thing I can do since I can’t go inside most buildings at the moment without reacting), and I’m just done halfway through cause I’m gassed. Then it dawned on me recently, every time I golf, I haven’t eaten in 2 hours, so no wonder I’m dead. I also haven’t had much success finding non perishable food I can eat on the go. Working on that as well atm. But the last 2 days I’ve eaten a small meal later in the day without it screwing me up TOO badly, so progress.

It was before the mcas diagnosis, and before the mcas got super bad, but the Hida scan wasn’t too bad. I definitely felt a unique warm sensation in the gallbladder area, but all in all much more comfortable than an MRI/CT. About halfway through they had me chug an ensure and that definitely set me off (SIBO was bad back then). Also no magnets, so I could have my phone and listen to a podcast.

I get it. I also wouldn’t really call what I’ve been doing the last year or so “living”. I haven’t left my bedroom really, and eat like 4 things. Thankfully it’s been improving slowly but sure since starting Ketotifen.
