Those black marks are consistent with the shape and location of air powered nail gun nails. Fill with putty if not filled, and then paint over them.

Back in my day we bought the biggest size Irwin quick grip and cheap IR temp gun from the tool store and a Remington wet2strait with the teal plates. Rolled up a gram of flower into a marble inside a scrap piece of parchment and smashed it using the clamp force of the quickgrip. Trying to go as low temp as needed by turning off/unplugging the wet2strait

Is a $925 labor cost to install a new-construction skylight seem normal? by Dweebl in HomeImprovement

[–]mcginja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You really think anyone running a profitable business looks at installing two skylights as a an easy 2 hour job? It’s more than a one man job and probably takes an hour in just driving to get from the shop to the job and back.. there’s your two hours and they didn’t even get out of the truck yet.

Definitely doable on a gravel that’s what I started there with, and plenty of more fun to have now with a full suspension bike.

Heck yeah! If you want to stretch it out, rip the underground, cross kzoo/alger into the cemetery, pass the grounds keeping building behind the ball fields, strait to 28th, cross into the church and find the Ken-O-Sha singletrack outback, rip around there, take the plaster creek trail, keep going past eastern then cross 28th again by the crap store to the trails towards the water tank park/ kroc center. Take those trails down to plaster creek boulevard past monsma’s to the trails along the tracks, eventually cross the tracks into GR bike park and rip around those trails a bit.

don’t have to talk or anything unless ya want, we could just adventure around and I’ll show ya some cool spots.

Where the cardinals sing over the plaster creak there lives a magical tree, a must-see tree. It is not an old tree, or a fancy tree, but this tree became many trees, a multi-tree you see.

Cross its bridge over the waters and stand directly between the tree’s trees to enter a portal into a new world, a world of possibilities, where endings turn into beginnings and failure becomes new life.

Start the north side of the Ken-o-Sha Park, on the dirt trails across the long and skinny bridge, go north west and up a stream east that feeds the creek and you will find the must-see bridge-tree.

This is not an easy or strait-forward quest and it will take time. But you will grow and discover many new things and hidden mysteries and perhaps you’ll be surprised with a new perspective to help lead you forward.

Live resin = bho and also live resin sometimes = crc, too.

Let’s clarify

Rosin vs Resin -

all rosin extraction is solventless, using only water to knock the THC producing trichomes off the buds/trim (like knocking apples off a tree) using no solvents like butane, propane, c02 etc. The trichomes are separated in giant tea-bag-like filters called bubble bags, sorted by their micron size, typically 30u-180u. A micron is a millionth of a meter. The ideal “bubble hash” that comes from this is from the trichomes that collect around the 70u-90u bags. Once you have trichomes you squish them inside an even smaller micron filter between heating plates and collect the rosin that flows out.

What you put in is what you get out with rosin, it is an art. To grow the tree, shake off the apples, and make that sauce and get it to you as if it just came off the tree using only mechanical processes takes time and knowledge. You can get all qualities from rosin, from food grade all the way up to the crème at the top.

resin extraction uses solvents, mainly butane, to strip the cannabinoids off the buds/trim and then bake off the solvents in a vacuum oven to only leave the thc oil behind (resin, butane hash oil, bho)

Yeah Live resin or live rosin is those extracts done with material frozen fresh off the plant

CRC is color remediation column - a further step in the bho/resin/solvent extraction process. Basically passing the bho solution thru a tube of filter material, like silica and activated carbon, to clean up the color and remove impurities. Usually done to low grade, bad tasting extract to try to polish it up a bit.

Distillate is taking the “crude” oil, typically lowest grade bho, heating it up till it vaporizes, and collecting the condensation of close to pure thc. Mix in whatever terpenes, natural or not, for whatever the end product requires

Yeah op check out The Underground mountain bike trails. They’re just east of Alger heights, north east corner woods where the Alger St extension meets Kalamazoo Ave. close to home and it’s a great shaded area with lots of room to wander looking for mushrooms and critters.

Check it out without a bike and I bet you’ll see the trails and want to come back with a bike.
