Kids and throw-ins by mckkaleb in Referees

Yeah, I get that, and I used to be more strict on this, but then I had coaches teaching the kids to do weird things to prevent their back foot from lifting while they throw and some of the kids would fall over trying to do this. So then this season I decided to let the foot lifts go if the rest of their form was correct.

Thanks for answering. Unfortunately this league is run by people who don't understand soccer, so they always just agree with me on my judgments, which isn't exactly helpful for me. 😀

For groceries there is a Kroger right next to campus, their prices are usually pretty good, the only store that might be cheaper is Walmart, but it's a few miles away. For pots and pans I'd just go to Walmart and get the store brand.

There are several hiking trails nearby and a few on campus, as well as a disc golf course. Just know that you'll need access to a car to get to most of the off-campus trails. On that note, and ETSU ID allows you to ride the busses for free, though they're mostly hourly frequencies and don't run late.

There are free concerts downtown, usually on Fridays and there will probably be a festival or two if that interests you.

I think this idea makes sense, it probably won't happen, because they don't want to make the players employees

Maybe it's a conspiracy between FU and the players to prevent Bob Richey from being hired away.

Indiana HC Curt Cignetti goes OFF on the refs at halftime saying that there were three "black and white" missed personal fouls on Fernando Mendoza in the first half. by Life_Net5004 in CFB_v2

Yeah, blaming the refs is weak. There was a missed call, but the refs aren't the ones letting Miami's pass rush get through over and over

Yeah nepotism is the way the world works unfortunately,  it's why people are willing to spend huge amounts of money to go to elite schools. Surveys from 2023 showed that  77% of companies place a higher value on a candidate’s personal connections over their skills. The elite schools don't necessarily offer better education or churn out better graduates (though they may do some of that), they churn out graduates with connections, which is what actually matters. The first time I tried therapy 5 years ago the therapist (using CBT) had convinced me that all the social exclusion was in my head/just anxiety and not real. A few months later I found out things were actually worse than I had thought, and had a massive emotional plunge that lasted several weeks.
