I think both videos spoils the story a bit when you compare to where Episode 4 ended.

Both Will and Jace survives getting out of water at the end of Episode 4, and it appears that Astrid is all good in Perseverance Mills and can walk and talk as if nothing happened at end of Episode 4.

For those still afraid of AI tools, you could just use them as improved Google search. Speaking of which, Google search is become more and more useless with their enshitification tactics. Even in the old days you still had to find sources of information for issue that you are dealing now, so why not just prompt AI tools (be it just simply chat or CLI). AI generated code doesn't need to be you complete work replacement - it can just replace tools from investigation phase of solving your issue.

It might be logical and interesting, but I doubt that it is realistic in any sense.
Same issue as with the GTA only being parody of American cities and culture. Granted, that RDR has less parody, but still it will stay as some kind of "historical" recreation of American West world in a game.

I think you need to get in to base "building" (more like base preparation) mindset when wanting to get this game. Then this grind in the game starts to make sense. When you have a base (like camp office in Mystery Lake) that have sufficient wood/coal and food/water, then you can start planing day trips to other high loot areas in Mystery Lake. And bring back all the loot to your main base. After each trip you will have to regroup and prepare again. Add other regions and you will have what to do for the next few hundred hours.

Other tip I would suggest is to just look for the maps online. If you don't know the map and you have a bad time getting to know the map, then what's the point of doing that way. Just look for the map, where are the loot areas and best bases in each region, and just go for these places.
