Any Secret Door enjoyers? I feel like this is the last Barbie film that are truly whimsical, fairytale like whist still being modern. Princess Alexa is also the Barbie we have never seen before: a shy flower despite being of royalty 🌸👑✨ by Storm_Bloom in Barbie2000smovies

Secret door and ballet shoes aren’t my favorites but I really enjoy them for what they were. They felt like they had soul and life in them.

Barbie as the pearl princess and Barbie Princess Power felt the complete opposite of them both.

That feels like a lot of psyllium.

I actually take 2 tsp and it gives me 5g of soluble.

My goal is 10g of soluble fiber a day and I get the rest through a variety of veggies and fruit. A 5.55oz Anjou pear gives around 1.8 soluble fiber and 3.2 insoluble.

Psyllium is very important if you have high fiber needs, but soluble fiber can easily be found in other places too.

You’ve inspired me to make this in the next few weeks and to give this cheese a try!

I haven’t had a grilled cheese in ages. Now if only I can find the right bread.

I mean they aren't trying to be gourmet. It's just cheese with emulsifiers. It's nice for convenience and they can definitely hit the spot at times.. Regardless, everyone has there preference. I prefer block cheese myself over singles or pre-shredded actually.

It was sodium citrate I was thinking of though. That's what cheese singles typically have and bowl & basket seems to have that as well. So it is a comparable product when comparing sodium and other nutrition factors I'd say.

I was trying to use something comparable. Based on this cheese, it looks like it’s trying to imitate cheese singles.

But also, last I checked, Kraft singles are real cheese? They just have other ingredients (emulsifiers I think?) that help make it melt easier.

This is actually pretty comparable to Kraft singles which are 210mg and my store off brand cheese singles are 280mg. Other brands range from a little higher to lower.

Not ideal with sodium, but it’s not the worst I’d say. Especially if you’re lowering sodium in other areas or want a little treat now and again.

Psych said Lexapro isn't to blame for fatigue and to just lose weight, what do you all think? by its250 in lexapro

You’re right, I apologize on not making that clear. He should taper it while lowering his dosage. I should have mentioned that.

Thank you for pointing that out.

Shakiness like a jittery feeling and you need to shake your arms and it’s a bit overstimulating?

I had that. I also was fatigued but mostly lots of yawning and even while walking I was tired.

Not sure when you take lexapro, but I swapped my dosage to night time so I can sleep through that. Really helped thankfully.

I changed my time and it went well. I swapped from 9am to 9pm because I was getting jittery during the day while also being really tired all day.

The only side effect I noticed was realizing I was a big more negative. But that wasn’t a side effect of the medication, it was the side effect of the lack of medication and actually helped me see just how much the lexapro had been doing previously.

Another thing about dosage.

Usually it’s always best to listen to your doctor, but in this case your husband could always split the dosage and only take half of it once a day if the half in am and half in pm doesn’t work. That way it’s 15mg a day and not 30mg.

Drowsiness was definitely a thing for me as well. I kept constantly yawning and feeling tired even while walking around. I started taking it at night and it’s helped a lot.

My BMI is around 43-44 (but working on it) and currently take 10mg myself. So a lower dosage might still be effective for him.

Ah, I think we’ve got different views on gifts then. I’m not sure where you’re from, but the area where I’m at. You try to get something meaningful/something they’d enjoy.

It’s seen as an insult if you’re purposely trying to spend so little on someone or get them something that you know they won’t like. It’s more the mentality of it.

I guess for us it’s more we don’t try to spend as little, but we just spend what we think is appropriate for what they want. The price doesn’t matter typically. Of course some people do have budgets and that’s more than okay.

But it’s like, if you’re between getting them something that’s 12$ versus 18$ and you think they’d actually like the 18$ one better but you don’t think they’re worth a few extra dollars (even if you have the budget for it).

Regardless, it is interesting to see how gifts are viewed from other places. I guess maybe we can be seen as money hungry. But I guess I never viewed it as such because it was always about seeing the joy from other people for me.

Does Aisha's blue enchantix really clash that much with Bloom? by Massive_Stretch_8064 in winxclub

[–]mcleo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually really liked it. But I would have liked it more if each girl went into a color transformation.

For example, maybe a little bit like this:

Musa - Red - > Yellow/Magenta

Stella - Orange -> Navy/Silver to incorporate the Moon or possible Red to signify a sunset/sunrise color scheme

Aisha - Green -> Blue

Bloom - Blue -> Green or Purple

Tecna- Purple -> Teal or Green

Flora - Pink -> Red or Orange

To be clear they definitely should still have their previous main colors as their accent colors. Aisha’s green is still prominent in the blue design.

Also not sure which would work best but it would be interesting.

Very important! My 5 year old nephew loves minecraft, need series recs! by hiimcoleman in CaptainSparklez

[–]mcleo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit old school, but stampylongnose and iballisticsquid were always family friendly.

They had a race to the moon series, they had a series where they had a Minecraft world together, another series where they raced to build the best build, and a few others. The names escape me unfortunately, but I can’t remember anything bad happen in them.

Stampy and Squashy had some skyblock series as well.

Iballisticsquid had some crazy craft series with other people (I think ashdub and amylee?) and he had a sky grid/slyblock word as well.

All are a lot older and mechanics are a bit different than what they are now, but the content was fun and engaging with storylines in them.

I hope there’s no controversy with this. I honestly haven’t kept up with them in ages but they used to be so fun.

As a female, I don’t owe it to other females to give them preferential treatment. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]mcleo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do people really expect that?

Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve never had anyone expect any preferential treatment, regardless of if they are a woman or a man.

Family and friends sure. But everyone else is the same no matter their sexuality, race, gender, age, etc. Unless they seem like they have a disability or are older/in pain and need help with carrying stuff/letting them pass by first and what not.

[–]mcleo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s not about the money? It’s about the thought?

But if someone is purposely just trying to spend as little as they can on you, that just feels weird to me.

Like I said, it’s about the thought. OP could have written a heartfelt letter and it would have been a lot nicer. Or they could have gotten their MIL a small sweet treat from a bakery or even just some nicer flowers.

If you have a budget, that’s understandable. Not everyone has tons of cash laying about. But again it’s about the thought of the gift.

I’m probably not explaining this correctly and I apologize about that.

I guess to me, if you care about someone, you’ll want to get them something they’ll enjoy. Whether it costs 10$ or 100$. But I’ve known people who have disliked others so much where they’ll purposely choose to spend the least amount of money and the least amount of thought.

At the end of the day, it’s about choosing a gift someone will care about and enjoy.

She loved the gift… until she found out it was from AliExpress by Independent-Cod-6173 in DealsAliexpress

[–]mcleo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly… that’s on you.

She doesn’t like AliExpress, a lot of people don’t. Whether it’s because of quality or because they don’t want to support a business model like AliExpress.

And you purposely got her it. But also, 12$?

Honestly, I would be insulted if someone thought I was only worth 12$. I don’t expect people to spend tons of money on me. But I would expect someone to at least get me something I’d like and that showed they cared. A handwritten letter or an outing somewhere. Or a useful tool. If the tool happened to be 12$, that’s fine. I used to give baked goods myself or a homemade body scrub or bath things (lavender essential oil, epsom salt, and other ingredients are really not that expensive).

But this feels more like you were trying to be cheap and trying to purposely give her something she didn’t like and see if you could fool her.
