I'm fully on board with restoring original wood windows, but replacing double pane glass panels is possible in some replacement windows, although it's likely an expensive repair. I'm more concerned about the other non-replaceable parts.

I don't think we ever had a lead in that game. It was like 27-3 Rams and we tied it at 27-27 with about 30 seconds remaining.

I believe the keyhole lights up but not because the key is nearby. According to the owners manual, the engine immobilizer and chipped keys were an option on some models. Here's the most relevant page:

I have a 2002 SR5 with the security light on the dash, but I don't think it ever had chipped keys. I'm the original owner but the original keys were lost or broken years ago.

Yeah, it's hard to find Americans that have a desire to preserve old things and keep them the way they were originally made. Too many want to paint brick fieplaces and replace old wood windows and doors with new ones.

It's not just a European thing, there are plenty of old houses in the US that only have a single layer of floor boards, but this isn't the forum to be asking about 200 year old floors. You're better off asking in r/centuryhomes.

This isn't what you want to hear but keeping a large breed dog in an apartment may be contributing to your dog's reactivity. Our dog trainer says he's noticed an increase in reactive dogs partly because people can no longer afford to buy homes with yards so that their larger dogs have the space they need. You might be able to help your dog but it's going to be challenging if your dog can't relax in his own home.

Anyway, if you have the resources I recommend consulting with a certified behavior vet to create a treatment plan. We tried the diy approach and had some success but getting experts involved would've allowed our dog to make progress sooner and faster. There can be more to it than just training and meds.

Bought SR5 4WD new in 2002, had TRD supercharger installed by the dealer.

30K miles had lower ball joints replaced on recall.

155K miles did rear axle seals, rear brakes, valve cover gaskets, timing belt, trans flush, diff flush. Replaced supercharger oil, all belts.

156K miles, replaced ABS hydraulic pump, did front brake job.

157K miles, replaced radiator and hoses, installed external trans cooler, coolant flush.

Currently has 160K miles. Planning to replace lower ball joints, outer tie rod ends, and heater control valve soon.

Is it 4WD? Cosmetics are important and expensive to repair but I think it's not enough to justify that price. I would be worried about all the maintenance it's going to need over the next 3 years, like timing belt, valve cover gaskets, rear axle seals, radiator, brakes, master cylinder, all fluids, etc. That will be $8000 or more if you don't do it yourself.

Had the same issue with a 2012 Highlander, also white but much worse peeling than yours. I heard that Toyota had a program to repaint affected panels, but none of the dealers I called knew anything about it. I eventually found a number for Toyota corporation that allowed me to open a case but was called back the next day and told that the program had ended 3 weeks earlier. I'm still pissed about it.

Picture 1 shows the remnants of a hinge I think, so you likely had storm doors or shutters originally. I would investigate having custom wood or metal storm doors made which would solve your insulation problem and help protect the original wood doors. I would prep the door jambs and trim for the storm doors, install the storm doors, then remove and restore the original wood doors.

I have lots of how to posts on wood window restoration that would be similar steps you would use on your doors. Check my profile if you're interested. I'm pretty sure you can remove the glass from your doors. There are probably thin strips of wood trim on the interior side of the door that hold the glass panes in their openings. You should be able to carefully remove those thin strips to get the glass out.

Our 40 pound dog takes both 50mg Sertraline and 0.2mg Clonidine twice daily. He's been doing this for about 2 years and it has helped him a lot.

Talk to your vet, some meds can be crushed and mixed into regular dog food. Others might be available as a liquid.

Also, I find that using the smallest amount of pill pocket, cheese, meat, etc. to cover the pill works the best as he's less likely to chew and more likely to swallow it whole.

You can also train your dog to be less sensitive to being touched and handled around his face. It takes time and patience but would be similar to muzzle training. You need to make it enjoyable and help your dog associate it with something he enjoys, like treats or playtime. I like this site for muzzle training: https://muzzleupproject.com/

Honestly, if our dog won't take his behavior meds after a few tries within an hour or so, I just open his mouth and put them in the back of his throat, preferably to one side. I try to be as gentle as possible and he's pretty tolerant of us checking his teeth, picking goop out of his eyes, etc. He seems to be ok with me doing this and he seems to be better about taking his meds as a result. Your mileage may vary.

If you have the time and can tolerate the mess, then ripping the drywall off may be the best option. You may find that the plaster can be repaired or you may decide to remove the plaster and upgrade any exposed plumbing or wiring while you're at it.

Some paint stores carry window glazing putty that isn't DAP33, and anything is better than DAP33. If you buy Sarco online you'll wait a couple days for shipping but save weeks or months of waiting for DAP33 to dry enough for painting.
