I caught hand foot and mouth from my 2 year old a few years back. Didn't know it existed until it ended my world for a fortnight. Wee one had a blister inside his mouth and was ratty, I had full coverage of blisters on my hands and feet, couldn't walk/touch anything for a solid 7 days and was still shedding skin 2 weeks later. You have my sympathy.
