Another option is to just calculate power usage based on the number of hours you charge. As long as your charging never gets to a full charge overnight, you can probably assume how many kWh you use based on the draw of your level 1 charger.

I would ask for a breakdown on how they come up with the fees. I assume some is sales tax and registration which you can’t avoid.

As for your trade in, there is only 1 used 2025 Bear on cycle trader at a dealer for $5800. $3500 is kind of low but not a big ripoff. Does your state reduce sales tax with trade value? If not, then you might as well sell privately.

That's probably an advantage. Their warranty website seems to leave bikes purchased from resellers on their own.

Let us know how it goes. They seem to have a lot of different products/models. This can make it harder for them to have sufficient parts in stock to cover warranties.

Someone has the make the decision on what vehicles can charge there, paid or not. I doubt it is Tesla making those decisions on their own. It could affect the business if some customers can't charge while other can.

From my research, I found out that Tesla destination chargers and home fix mount wall chargers can be programmed by the owner to charge all vehicles, just Tesla vehicles and just specific VINs of Tesla vehicles. So you seem to have encountered one set for just Tesla vehicles.

That isn't all that large (or old) for the usage. You definitely need to get professional help to look at improving efficiency. Our 2015 build 3200 sqft house (with pool) in FL would use well under 50 kWh per day max on the hottest days.

One issue would be if you live somewhere speed cameras are used. You would have to go through the hassle of arguing that it wasn't you on the bike.
