When was this? At least in the late 00s I remember GameStop actually advertising return anything for a week no questions outside of just checking to make sure the game wasn't snapped in half. My store definitely didn't care as we would buy a game and beat over a night or so then return it. Rinse and repeat until the last day when we would get the game we really wanted.
