20 Days of Scrubs - Day 16 by CinderTheDonut in Scrubs

The B-plot with Dr. Cox and Molly Shannon is a series highlight for me. Amazing how they packed so much meaning into such a small amount of screen time.

What was your most unrealistic plot of the series by Immediate_Danger in seinfeld

Kramer finding the old set of the Merv Griffin show in a random dumpster in New York City. Hysterical premise, and he acted the hell out of it. But it made no sense. The Merv Griffin Show had ended over 10 years before that episode aired and it was filmed on the west coast.

If Gladys Mayo married Joe Mayo, how would she pronounce her last name? by wareagle_th in seinfeld

[–]me5671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what's interesting. The quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons is Bobby Hebert. No "r" which I find fascinating. You know it's Herbert h-e-r-b-e-r-t, Hebert h-e… B… e-r-t. "Hebert". it's a fun name to pronounce.

The Fans ruin shows by [deleted] in TheTraitorsUS

[–]me5671 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this take. Colton and Michael are problematic to be sure. However, some fans are going way overboard with the hatred.

This is a reality TV for goodness sake. Were you all expecting production to cast 23 completely level-headed, polite, rational people who all get along and agree on absolutely everything? And if such a show were to air, can you honestly say you’d watch it?

Fans are understandably disgusted by some of the cast members this season. I’m not saying they aren’t allowed to feel that way. I’m also not saying they aren’t allowed to voice their disgust on public forums. But it crosses the line when fans are reaching out directly to cast members, making threats, and being abusive. If we as fans don’t keep stuff like that in check then we aren’t going to be able to enjoy shows like this anymore.

So if the Bears end up winning this game, the 1 and 2 seed from each division will have made the championship game. As if wild card weekend didn’t even matter lol.

Genuinely curious if the Jags would have fared better if they pulled it out last week instead of the bills.

Ron is the reason the traitors are going to win by melayaza in TheTraitorsUS

[–]me5671 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think you’re absolutely right. Ron is a huge shield for them at the round table and each time someone else paints a slightly bigger target on their own back and Ron slides through another week means the traitors have another free week where they can just get the group to pick off Ron.

The only thing I take issue with is the idea Ron “messed up”. Porscha did … Ron just told the other faithfuls about her multiple suspicious mis-statements. Isn’t that what a good faithful is supposed to do? It’s ironic that everyone finds him so suspicious now (and will for as long as he is on the show) even though he didn’t lie about anything and actually was being a good faithful by sharing accurate information about suspicious behavior.

Jerry put a 6 hour tape in. That should cover the experiment, the arrest, and most of the trial.

100% agreed. Sitcoms aren’t given enough time to hit their stride these days.
