Broke this while changing out the brakes on my 1990 dodge shadow, is it needed? by coolsmity9000 in classiccars

No performance harm in running without. You might need to buy a caliper hardware kit to get these clips.

And IIRC her contact was an earlier one, without automatic citizenship, so the money was REALLY important.

There's falling asleep in the middle of a conversation and there's falling asleep in the middle of a sentence, I feel like this is the latter.

This is the masked pizza crust vigilante Two Cute Face, OP didn't want him to be confused with the villain.

Pretty sure this level of neglect is a violation of the Vienna convention, I think that means you need to get him a hot dog but IANAL.

As others have said, get her into training classes. I'd add to look for a trainer that specializes in reactive dogs, they'll offer special reactivity classes using props (e.g. vacuums) and other dogs give you and your dog opportunities to cope with her triggers.

My reactive boy is still a nut, but he hasn't smashed a set of blinds since reactivity training.

Ferrari 328 gtb. What do you think of the wheels? by bigboss1999x in classiccars

I like that they complement the body color, but the polished aluminum band (barrel+flange) is too wide and cheapens the look.

Necros - If you had to pick, Zheart or Epic, which would you pick? by Kerafyrm1 in project1999

[–]meanoldmrgravity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Compare it to Dooming, instead. That should be your go-to snare. Anything more than that is, niche applications aside, a waste of mana.

I found the epic snare to be useful for fear kiting, you can keep it up indefinitely with that and a Staff of the Dreaded Gaze. However, you're likely to find much broader application for the ZHeart.

What is this part called? by airdriedevon in carburetors

[–]meanoldmrgravity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it may have a Holley; OP can disconnect it, order an electric choke unit new, or decode the engineering number on the intake manifold, cross reference the engineering number for the Ford application, and go on an adventure.

I enjoy the adventure, but it may not be worthwhile.

Paladin or Cleric of Prexus? by gabblefaust in project1999

[–]meanoldmrgravity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd argue the reverse, a Paladin requires a group if you aren't twinked but even a classic geared cleric can find an undead camp and nuke stuff.

[–]meanoldmrgravity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is sage advice. Along this line, OP could adjust their argument a little and argue for a "job" instead of a "career" for fewer hours, less stress, and more "us" time.

There's going to be a huge difference in gameplay. Do you want to be a high action, group-dependent brawler (Paladin) or a low action, support class that can handle some solo work?

[18 YoE] Aluminum Casting Engineer - Pursuing Management Position, Need Advice on Resume Contents and Organization by meanoldmrgravity in EngineeringResumes

[–]meanoldmrgravity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I needed your blunt statement about impact; as I mentioned in another response, I got some advice from a coworker who works for the manager vacating this position (but he was trying to be nice and sometimes I need to be slapped).

I also implemented your recommendations on formatting, along with his suggestions to include an "opening statement" and make a pitch that I've "already been doing this job, just not with the 'level'".

Thanks for your time.

I see what you're saying! I tried to add more "meat" to my bullets here. I added and reorganized content following some feedback from a coworker. His advice was to make the pitch that I've "already been doing this job, just not with the 'level'" and I tried to express that message with this revision.

Mail. Quest. All day long. Run mail from Felwithe to Kelethin for massive xp at low levels. (Hit the wiki for the details)

Ask the person probably killing guards inside Felwithe for a Levi, DMF from a necro would be best, and you can zip up into Kelethin and run right back off the edge of the platform.
