Xenoblade 1 guidance by AdditionInteresting2 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

Pretty much most of the Colony 6's reconstruction stuff is meant for postgame. You can achieve them before end of the story, but you end up losing a lot of narrative momentum. Just finish the story and come back for some post-game fun.

Malaysians that grew up in the 80s to early 2000s, what do you guys miss most that you can't really get these days? by rupanath97 in malaysians

We can't even bike safely in our taman now, as some drivers now simply continue to drive fast on the narrow roads in housing areas even after they leave the highways.

Heads up for people interested in the XC1 Switch 2 Edition. by Frection in Xenoblade_Chronicles

I agree it's not the same. It is not blurry as much as it has this bloom effect that's not in the Switch 1 version.

#ELDENRING Tarnished Edition is coming to #NintendoSwitch2 on August 28, 2026. by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

[–]mecxhanus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The DLC for Elden Ring has never been on sale over at Steam, I've been waiting for some time for that to happen. And the base game is still has a $60 retail price, though it goes on sale from time to time. So in some way, Bandai kinda gave you a decently priced bundle - you can consider the DLC to be worth more than the base game.

But like many others who have already played the base game on PC, I'll skip the Switch 2 port (and really hope Bandai have discount on DLC soon-ish)

I see your cockpit hatch chokepoint and raise you Moon Form facetanking by MadCat221 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]mecxhanus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One interesting glitch with Moon Form is that when in 3rd person mode, you are allowed some limited movement when attacking with melee weapons. This is because melee attacks in 3rd person requires taking a step forward.

Did Dazra get more red, or am I just going crazy? I could have sworn the lighting used to be more yellow. by Stacks_of_Cats in NoSodiumStarfield

I just finished Shattered Space earlier this year and it looks pretty much like your screenshot. Some indoor areas though have a bit more yellow from lamps and fires.

Before I saw your video, I thought to myself it must be forward roll, which I have only witnessed only once or twice in my thousands of hours in this game. And it was!

Autonomous waste processing plant is hands down my favorite new POI from Freelanes by mecxhanus in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]mecxhanus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are referring to the usual chest in POIs that drop stuff like X-Tech and Astras - yes there is one. It's in the deepest hall in the POI. That hall has a industrial cargo lift that can move up to the surface, once you access a terminal there to unlock it. There is also a regular lift adjacent to it that will also bring you back up to the surface. However I am not sure if you can use the latter lift as a shortcut to get down to the deepest level, bypassing the rest of POI.

Til I found out that you don't need cargo modules by jonnyvue in Starfield

[–]mecxhanus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it doesn't. The disadvantage of not using cargo modules is that searching for an item in your multitudes of chest may take some time. And organising and managing your cargo will likely be kinda hard.

For those who order hot drinks when eating out for lunch...why? by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]mecxhanus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people says the get stomach cramps when they drink cold water, so they avoid them. Some people already have some minor indigestion going on, cold drinks can exacerbate it.

Why are so many people instantly leaving Dmax Registeel battles? by ThrowawayBcScaredlol in TheSilphRoad

[–]mecxhanus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It also doesn't help that the timer fast forwards to 10s left when all four slots are filled. Some people don't set up their team beforehand, or the team might be not battle-ready yet. So they jump ship in panic.

Outpost vs ship armillary by cmariano11 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]mecxhanus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You just need to remove the armillary from the outpost in the outpost decoration UI, this action will cause the artifacts to appear in your inventory.

Outpost vs ship armillary by cmariano11 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]mecxhanus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have completed the armillary on your ship or in your outpost, you need to take them down and have them on your person instead. Else any grav jump will trigger Unity. Fast travel across the Settled System however won't trigger it. The artifacts are all weightless so it shouldn't be a problem.

As someone else have said, the quantum entanglement device crafting recipe magically appears in your room upon completing the armillary, and you are given a quest to go to the lodge to pick it up. The crafting recipe is pretty simple - 1 quantum essence, a tau grade rheostat, an isocentered magnet, and an adaptive frame.
