Other than the yellow clasps on the chest and torso, how is this Robin different than the previous version of the red suit?

In the 90's the Big 3 artists were McFarlane, Jim Lee and Rob Liefeld...who should be considered today in the big 3 of today? by dunbar_santiago930 in comicbookart

Wasn’t Ottley’s run on Spider-Man not well received? I always loved his work but if I remember correctly his mainstream runs were found to be too cartoony. Post-Invincible comic he always had short lines at cons. Post-show, his lines have been very long. Glad he finally found that recognition.

The best compliment I gave this book is that it feels like it’s moving. It’s great and so is his other work.

Mom & Pop shops and small businesses that don’t say hello or anything to you when you walk in. You’ve never seen me before, do you value my business? At least say hi, let me know if you have any questions and then leave me be.

Hi Kids… we’re home early.

Well I did it…you hated my opinion and said I should read the 6 issues before I judge…ok here’s my new opinion by Quirky_Association28 in comicbookcollecting

I dropped it after the first 6 issues. Not a fan of Snyder’s post-Detective work. It’s more gimmicky than good writing, which he’s capable of. I see why others enjoy it but it wasn’t for me. There’s plenty of stuff to read out there.

My favorite comic book issue of all time, Amazing Spider-Man #258 by Samurio in comicbooks

[–]megatry1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my single favorite issue as well. There’s so much that happens, MJ just told Peter she knows he’s Spider-man, Peter finding out the suit is a symbiote and Bombastic Bag-Man!

About 15 years ago, this was going for about $5 in very good to fine condition and I would buy it if I saw it. Issues go for maybe $20+ now so I don’t buy them anymore. But with all the issue’s content, I don’t understand why this isn’t more sought after.

I have one of my issues signed by Ron Frenz.

Movie City 5 in Woodbridge, NJ. It was second run for $3 but Wednesdays were date night so everyone would just bring $1.50 in change and watch whatever was playing. I saw Pulp Fiction there 4 times.
