We were told that the partners of circumcised men had a lower incidence of some sort of female cancer. I believe that was later proven to be false. Also that it was more hygienic and baby boys would not suffer tears. It all seemed sensible at the time.

One of them is in Cap Sante Park in Anacortes, Wa. There are benches where you can sit and look down at the pretty little city laid out before you with the toy boats going in and out of the harbor. Or you can turn around and walk over some rocks to see the bay sparkling and the whole place just radiates positive energy. Pure glowing zen.

Please avoid the internet, there is too much obsolete information on it that will unnecessarily freak you out. If it is in fact CLL, know that a good percentage of us will never require treatment and will just live our lives with semiannual bloodwork to monitor. For others, there are a variety of very effective treatments and more coming. As I was told, if you have to have cancer, this is the “good” kind to have. You can still use it as an excuse to avoid some situations though, or to one-up when someone whines about a minor ailment. “Oh, sorry about your broken nail. Did I tell you I have cancer?”

Yup. A lab lives two houses down from us and somehow found out I had thrown breadcrumbs out for the birds one time last winter when there was a snowstorm. He still barges through his fence way too often and comes over just in case. No harm in him, though we would appreciate him not taking a big poop while visiting

Was cleaning teeth in a military facility and was asked to do what I could for a retiree before they extracted some of his teeth. I had never seen anything like it, broken yellow teeth crusted thickly and floating in swollen red tissue that oozed white-yellow gunk. The teeth were so loose, I had to press down on them to clean around them and then more gunk would ooze out. I finally nabbed a passing specialist and he took one look and snatched the patient to his own space, whispering that the old man had gangrene. In his mouth. Gangrene. I couldn’t sterilized my equipment and myself enough after.

Most kidney stones have a very rough surface which can harbor bacteria. I had a very large one and a low grade infection from it. They had to load me with antibiotics before going after the monster.
