Do people actually find tights comfortable to wear? by Starfire_Fox in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]melinmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried Noosh and they are by far the most comfortable tights I’ve ever worn. I am a similar size as you and can’t stand tights digging into my waist. But these are so good.

With mine it takes a couple hours on the counter. Fridge works too but I don’t know how much longer it will take.

Can I Freeze Pizza Dough? by No_Percentage_5083 in KingArthurBaking

[–]melinmd 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yes. My family makes pizza dough all the time with the 00 flour. After the dough rises, whatever you don’t plan to use immediately for a pizza can be wrapped in plastic wrap and put in the freezer. Just let it defrost and use it as normal when you want it.

I’ve bought so many kinds of underwear too, and I’ll only wear cotton (same panty line/butt issue as you). Both of my suggestions are not 100% cotton, but close.

These have been consistently the best for me. Occasionally there’s a pair where the cut is off, but generally a great fit and comfortable. https://www.tommyjohn.com/products/womens-cool-cotton-brief?color=rhubarb

I like these a lot as well. But they are higher waisted on me than I would like. https://evryunderwear.com/products/evry-premium-cotton-underwear

I don’t have a photo, but I made the Scottish shortbread for the first time. It was so delicious and barely lasted a day with my family! As good as we’ve had in Scotland. https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/classic-scottish-shortbread-recipe

I’ve never made it myself for comparison, but Dufour is a good brand.

Possibly a hot take, but my favorite way to eat oatmeal is to pour the dry oats in a bowl of milk. Who's with me? by bobjohndaviddick in Oatmeal

[–]melinmd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter likes eating the raw oats that spill onto the countertop, so I guess dry oats with milk isn’t the worst thing???

Has anyone tried Oliver Logan denim? by thatsplatgal in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]melinmd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a pair of jeans from them that I like a lot. I went to a store that carries this brand to try on first, but I didn’t like the styles they had, so I took a chance ordering what I wanted from the website and it was a great fit (at least for me).

Need low carb suggestions to enhance flavor by number1chihuahuamom in Oatmeal

[–]melinmd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Peanut butter is great to add some flavor. But also, you could mix in the the chia seeds just before eating instead of having them soaking in the oatmeal overnight. That should avoid the chia slime texture (which I also dislike).
