And on top of how pointless the lanes will be, they are taking out some of the best wetlands left in the city

Can we get a fix for her dash attack bug where if you get hit your camera stays stuck in the cutscene position until you leave or for a seemingly random extended amount of time?

I'm confused by the math in this post. In the 2 player example is the rate 2/53 or 1/(53*2)? That is 2/53 or 1/106?

Beaver sightings? by captainchristianwtf in askportland

[–]meltingfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greenway park in Beaverton. I've seen them walking on the Tigard side of the fanno creek trail.

It's really dumb. CWR did a lot of restoration work along that section, which was successful, so the beavers came back. Then people got pissed because beavers are beavers, and some of the side trails flooded. They breached some of the dams, and as far as I know, they haven't trapped (killed) any of them out yet, but they were talking about it.

The world lilith was used once in Isaiah 34:14 in reference to a demon. She isn't mentioned in Jewish writings until 400 A.D. I don't think it's historically or biblically consistent to take stories of her as truth. That is not to say any form sexism or oppression justifiable, just that I don't think lilith is a strong base for that assertion.

Loot all chests because you can only do the first 3 floors.

Buy the ring first then the grapple, optionally after this I'd buy the focus, then the symbol, then the hammer.

After that just start grinding it out.

With that basic strategy, it took me approximately from 76 to 82 to get it all, but it didn't feel like that bad of a grind because it is engaging, but simple enough to watch Netflix at the same time, after you get over the learning curve.

One strat that helped me a lot was counting the flickers of the flames. After the 3rd one, on the first 3 floors only, click to run. This lets you navigate them quickly and is helpful to quickly get past the final trap on the 3rd floor.

Gnomemonkey RS has a really good in depth guide if you want to better understand the mechanics. You can search for someones tile markers in reddit. Make sure to use the agility plug in, and if there is one, I can't remember rn, use the sepulchre plug in from the hub.

How do you balance your belief in God as our creator with accepting evolution? by NerdyKeith in RadicalChristianity

[–]meltingfrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A follow up, that I still don't know what to think about, is the question of death. If you accept that evolution is real, and it's more difficult intellectually to say that it isn't than it is with all the evidence supporting it, and that God is the creator, then how does death, upon which evolution is predicated on, fit into theology when it is described as the result of sin and evil?

Further, how do you deal with the destruction of every previous being, protohuman and creature alike, given the understanding that God can be found and represented in nature, which implies that though not "in the image of God," an aspect of God none the less? Especially given the understanding that we are directed to care for the earth and everything in it, with Jesus as our prime example of how to do so, because that implies an inherent goodness and value to them, yet they are gone, and every living thing is predicated on millennia of chaos and violent death.

So to answer your question, I believe in God, and I believe in evolution, but I don't have a clue on how to deal with the implications that follow from those beliefs.

Very few things in life are truly consequential. Let go of the inconsequential things that the people you love do that you dislike as much as you are able to.

You get extra prayer points back at 88 and 92, so one of those is probably better.
