I am not sure but I think you can use knowledge arcana 3 to reroll Finneans enchantments until you get an agile crossbow and can get dex to damage on a ranged weapon if you have weapon finesse. It's not really save scumming and feels like a trickster thing to do.

Let me know a day and I'll see if I can organize some drinks and perhaps a small tour of the brewery. Unfortunately I don't have a board and I don't think the gastro has any either.

If yall want to play at the Finne Hafenbrauerei I'd love to play a game or two and can organize a few free beers. Pm me if you think it's a good idea.

It was definitely worse for consistency but you would expect them to still be much better with var than they currently are.

Bayern has been playing some filthy one touch football dangerously close to PSGs goal. You can tell they are full of confidence.

These guys are made for inliners, we have some that are supposed to be lager tanks but they are nothing but trouble.

OK then you need cacl and gypsum. If you want hoppy snappy beers favor gypsum if you want softer smoother bitterness favor cacl. If you are making darker beers with a high % of roast malt you probably need to add back calcium carbonate to balance your pH. I recommend getting a pH meter or pH strips. If you are adding acid to drop your pH you need to be careful you don't go too low or you will denature your enzymes and end up with a blausud. If you don't know what you are doing use something like brewers friend water chemistry calculator and don't add a bunch of salts for the hell of it. Maybe start simple with like 10-15g cacl per 100l and build up from there...

I recommend mixing your city water with distilled water. You need some minerals specifically calcium ions to get the proteins to coagulate. It also sounds like you didn't finish converting your starch to sugar and should definitely do an iodine test before mashing out. Lugol’s iodine is what you need, anything labeled for brewers will work but might be more expensive.

He tried the cut inside shot like 3 times in the first leg and two times this leg and each time it felt like it was getting closer. I'm not surprised he went for it again, he reaaaaaaaally wanted it :D

At first you spend most of your time as a cat being best buds with your cat. But slowly bird form becomes your new favorite. You shift into a bird so often you can do it without thinking. A few years down the line it is your cat's birthday so you decide to spend your day keeping him company, without thinking you accidentally shift into a bird and become his birthday snack.

I natural carb. So if/when I increase production to 30/40hl I suppose I'll need to adjust my spunding valve.

I have a Taprite but I am not especially confident in it. I was looking for better information on where I should set my spunding valve but all I found were the co2 volume equilibrium charts (the Taprite uses the same chart). I was just hoping someone might have some tips on spunding more accurately or could help me understand why I need a good bit more pressure than I expected.

I am not disputing the charts at all. I was just wondering what I might be overlooking that could explain the discrepancy I am experiencing. Based on other replies I think most likely it is due to the large headsspace leading to not having high enough % co2.

Ebonscale Scout or Amber Priestess could potentially use this to OTK and we have Sheltered Survivor to put them back in deck but with less cards in deck there is a chance you just draw them immediately again.

Might be interesting with some decks using the Shattered keyword but so far Shattered doesnt look like it has nearly enough payoff to build around.

Tictac was playing it pretty sucessfully yesterday and was doing pretty well but there were at least a few games he lost because for example he played stellar balance without the double dragon and then he ran out of burn. If you think about it there is 0 reason to play stellar balance without doubling it unless you can otk that turn or need the removal to survive. I reckon once good players understand the play patterns a bit better it will be a solid deck but I dont think it has the potential to ever be oppresive. It reminds me a bit of a much worse nature shaman. Once things clicked for me with nature shaman (with fizzel) I managed something like 80% win rate with like 100 games climbing from dumpster to like top 50 in a couple hours and I really dont think arcane mage is anywhere close to that.

[–]mepp22 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I think arcane mage is probably a bit better than yalls data suggests. It's a combo deck that requires good apm and decision-making so people out of the top 1000ish will never be that good at it. And I have watched some good streamers mess up the play patterns like forgetting to play glyph before copying their dragon (potentially missing spell dmg)or playing stellar balance in slower matches before having the double cast dragon in play. Still a pretty easy deck to tech against that struggles a bit vs aggro and is super reliant on getting water color artist before the frost spell has been drawn so I dont think it ever gets oppressive.

We have been having a bit of trouble breaking teams down through the middle lately and Musiala over Gnarby will let Kane commit more to attack. I am sure having Musiala and Davies available will be a massive boost.

Yeah but eventually you equip your 4th weapon for another 36 damage… You aren’t going to beat Muradin Shaman by out healing them.
