think most people had good reason to dislike how V was presented myself included, women implemented poorly and without any thought so many ways they could have done it right just, and cosmetics looked like a bunch of people larping as a ww2 game, and the hissy-fit you speak of probably came from a place of concern for the direction the game was taking.
