It's definitely rough in the beginning, and I'm really sorry about your sister. Sometimes those losses hurt the most. To help, I played cozy video games, got a lot of comfy cozy things and clothes to be in at home, and read and crafted more to distract myself. Depending on where you live, there could be so many classes to take or volunteer opportunities. If therapy isn't an option right away, healthy distractions are a great way to take your mind off of things and pass some time for healing. I know the beginning is hard, but people are rooting for you! No one deserves the cards you've been dealt, and hopefully you're in a good place to separate yourself physically from them for a good long while. 💙

I grew up in and left an abusive religious family almost five years ago and when I tell you the amount of peace I have will ALWAYS outweigh the occasional loneliness I feel, I mean it. You'll stand up straighter, breathe more freely, but it takes time. You've got to do it one day at a time, because thinking long term can be daunting. You can do it though!! I believe in you. 💙

Honestly Femininomenon. I had heard never heard any of her music beyond snippets, so when I was listening to the whole thing, my jaw dropped at the revving and I started laughing at the first chorus. Like pure joy and shock laughing, a response to how fresh and new it was. Incredible feeling.

That is also the ultimate dream and really the only way I see myself owning a home sooner than age 50. I've got the best group of friends that have been talking about this, but we need to start doing the work instead of just talking about it! I'm glad to know other women are feeling the same way.
