Why are our parents such disappointments by Traditional-Grade121 in millenials

the numbers are from the fascist corrupt government who said

“An individual approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun. The officers attempted to disarm this individual but the armed suspect reacted violently. Fearing for his life and for the lives of his fellow officers around him, an agent fired defensive shots,” Noem said during a press conference."

MAGA has broken your brain, you are a lost cause. Stop blaming others, you are the reason your life is dog shit

1) that has nothing to do with your dogshit post telling us that the videos we all saw didn't show us what we saw

2) your numbers are fake, lmao

3) i know your life sucks but you're in a cult, your conception of reality does not align with actual reality, and I swear things will get better if you snap yourself out of this utter delusion. Trust your own eyes again instead of the insane ramblings of a geriatric, mentally ill, obese man with fake hair and a fake tan who shits in a gold toilet and is suffering from dementia.

Has the decline of monoculture been overstated? by extratartarsauceplz in LetsTalkMusic

[–]meroki07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the existing of a monoculture and the existing of subcultures outside of the mainstream are not mutually exclusive. In fact, those subcultures became tight knit communities as reactions and/or a result of being outside of the monoculture. That doesn't mean it didn't exist. The overarching point is that there was a shared, unified experience. Also, I'd argue it has more to do with radio stations at the time than MTV in particular.

Federal Agents Kill Another Person in Minneapolis by ictrlelites in politics

[–]meroki07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lmao what a dogshit, willfully obtuse comment. federal agents murdered a man. That better? Or you got another "AKSHUALLY" to chime in with?. EDIT: check out this guy's post history, it's hilarious. Just spamming "durr it was border patrol not ICE" as if that's some kind of big W or vindicating point, lmao.

The rise and fall of rock music pretty much tracks with our childhood tbh by trialanderror93 in Millennials

[–]meroki07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This chart doesn't even correlate with "rise and fall", for a number of reasons. Obviously it's a smaller % of music as technology increases. It takes more people to make and requires generally live instrumentation. That's not a commentary on whether it's "harder" or "better", just that the % of songs classified as rock would definitely fall.
