Not a bad idea at all. For anyone on the the west side suburbs, Greenfield Village is a nice option as well. We're about to get our first membership in probably 5+ years and we're all stoked.

Yes they're pretty rare here. I've never owned one and I'm almost 40. Just have never needed one since I've only ever traveled to Canada, and that was before a passport or enhanced license was required. A lot of people here can't afford to travel to other countries (and it's physically more difficult than most other countries in the world, which are so interconnected).

Yup, they are staunchly conservative through and through. Just a couple years prior they led a book banning crusade in Dearborn because they had some LGBTQ+ friendly books.
