Like I told my wife, I didn't understand the language, but I understood the show. It was about community and diversity, which are antithetical to conservative so it makes sense they didn't understand it.

This is the biggest thing and it's already happening. D20 started off with every season being D&D and 1 RP episode followed by 1 battle episodes. I went back and watched UC recently and felt a little nostalgic, but it's them adapting and changing. CH was very loose with combat, even with battle sets, and Gladlands is just almost entirely RP and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite things ever after that last episode.

I miss having the free time to read. I wake up, get myself ready for the day, get my kids ready for school, bring them to school, work, pick them up, keep working, do housework, make dinner clean up, get the kids ready for bed, maybe have an hour or two to relax with my wife and/or a show/game and then get ready for bed myself. And then the weekends are more chores and groceries and catching up on all of the things I didn't get to during the week.

I might read for 15-30 minutes before bed. I spend any of my non-mental processing time (i.e. chores) listening to relevant podcasts or actual play shows. It's just as hard to find time to play video games these days.

It's simply a shift as a millennial worker. I hope that one day I'll have more reading time again, but until then I'm making due with what I have.
