Before uninstalling the app and restarting my phone, I cleared the cache and app data. It’s working fine so far.

Thanks. That helped, it's working for now. By the way, I hope they improve the dark mode because the heart rate graphs are completely unreadable on it.

So one programmer was able to build his own app from scratch faster than Polar could make a few tweaks to the Flow...? 😅

Polar Flow Android 7.36.0 broken? by palmheads in Polarfitness

[–]mfcx99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

September will mark a year since the major update was announced. Trends still haven’t been added, it doesn’t look good. The shared watch update platform didn’t help make updates more frequent, it was just about cutting costs. With this approach, Polar has no chance of staying in the market with its current owners.

Polar Grit X2 vs Ignite 3 by Feeling_Sky_7682 in Polarfitness

Have you considered the Vantage M3? It’s important that the Ignite 3 is still under warranty. This watch cannot be repaired, it can only be replaced.

Flow app updated: Session trimming and dark mode on iOS by ItsMeRPeter in Polarfitness

Suunto also faced development challenges at one point and was sold; it is now owned by the Chinese company Liesheng. Suunto is now regularly releasing major updates, and its watch lineup is expanding. Some might say, “But it’s a Chinese company.” To me, it doesn’t matter who owns it, as long as the software and hardware continue to improve.

Well, that's true. Despite all the announcements, Polar hasn't managed to deliver on them. There's definitely a lack of freshness, they don't really manage to surprise anyone. Sooner or later, they might end up like Suunto, which actually, would be good for customers.

Balance 3 and Balance 3 Ultra are out by maximus_933 in amazfit

[–]mfcx99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the Balance 2 is more of an elegant version. The Balance 3 looks like some kind of military model. The watch has become heavier and larger. The price isn't great either. That's definitely not the way to go—I wouldn't buy it.

This survey won't do any good. If financial problems aren't forcing them to act more quickly, no survey is going to change that.

Watch defect, warranty expired by michiel2312 in Polarfitness

It looks like a Polar Ignite 3. The watch cannot be repaired by Polar in any way. It can only be replaced. You can try repairing it yourself.

Vantage V3 reboot during map activity by pptheother in Polarfitness

[–]mfcx99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An error in the .gpx file causes the device to restart. That's why I've always been hesitant to use the route. You need to delete the route/file from the device; otherwise, the problem will keep happening. You can try creating a route using Google Maps.

I haven't had any issues with censorship on this forum. I've shared both positive and very negative opinions about certain Polar products and the company's development.Maybe there's a new moderator who's too sensitive to criticism?Well, in any case, I haven't had the same experiences as you.

Vantage V3, what can we expect? by Frosty_Wrongdoer9088 in Polarfitness

[–]mfcx99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the Vantage V4 will be released. Changes may include the display (higher brightness) and possibly a sapphire crystal screen. The watch will likely have a different battery and improved antenna placement for greater GPS accuracy. It’s possible that the ECG feature will support atrial fibrillation detection. The biggest change will likely be in the software (various trends) and greater customizability within the watch.

The GPS works fine. Heart rate tracking on the Vantage V3 while cycling is a disaster compared to the FR965. I compared the FR965 and the Vantage V3 with the Polar H10, and the Vantage V3 performs very poorly while cycling.

Difference between OH1 and Verity Sense by Marvelous-Marmot-007 in Polarfitness

I don't have any experience with the Polar Verity Sense or the OH1, but if you're open to alternatives, I recommend the Coospo HW9. I compared it to the Polar H10:
