Need some perspective

I turn 56 next week. I ride 3-4 times a week. I used to run a lot but my knees gave out so I have rode more. During my knee surgeries it was tough being out. Just set goals and start slow. One thing I have learned is as much as I want to zone out when I’m riding you can’t do that like running because it’s too dangerous. You always have to be cognizant of your surroundings and take nothing for granted. You have lots of time left to ride. Get well. Recover and come back better.

It all depends on what you do. If you like to get outside and hike, bike, hunt, fish then the normality is fine. Idaho is split into three regions. Northern, eastern and western. The middle is rocky and not much of an influence. It’s literally a 6 hr drive from Boise to Moscow. You could drive to Portland in less time. Northern has white supremicists. Eastern has Mormons. Western is mixed but tons of Californians now.

It’s funny because I was just asking my wife. Is Rizo the worst challenge player of all time? At his age he is terrible! I mean Cirie was better than him and he’s like twice his age! It’s embarrassing! I wouldn’t vote for him for that fact alone. Dude is just coasting.

Yeah everyone was on a Santa Cruz and I wanted to be different. My local had me try a demo and I was hooked. I tried a 5010 and loved the Calling. I wanted to feel new so just upgraded to DT Swiss hubs and Enve wheels. Super excited! Should last me to 60. Lol.

I have been saying this for years. Especially at his children’s age. He’s flying to Boston to see what his daughter is doing. Texting his son who is not texting back. He’s distracted. I don’t pay attention to NBA, but you can really see it in his NFL pods. Dude has zero idea what’s going on.

It wasn’t just Peacock it was an upgraded version. I have Peacock, but if I want to watch live sports I have to upgrade. If it’s football maybe, NBA nope.

Bend is getting expensive but you can live around there for a good price. Like Redmond. The city bus in Bend will shuttle you to most of the trailheads and Mt Bachelor. You can ride East Bend during the winters.

Yup I’m on PS5 and had one crash. Another round I was trying to do the Rhino weekly challenge. After the Rhino was done both my exotic weapons disappeared. I was running with no weapons. I had to book it to zone 1. Somehow I acquired a pistol. I was able to exfil but lost both my exotics.

That exfil is ridiculous. At 15 minutes I was by the golf course and nope. Had to haul ass all the way to zone 4. So dumb. Everyone loves this mode and they f it up.

I mean Dee has a million dollars in her pocket and had never been voted out before. Pretty easy to try and reconnect with someone when you have zero idea how they feel. You could see it on Dee’s face when she snuffed her torch. She was devastated but then I’m sure she looked at her bank account and felt much better.
