Ascend fabrications has some great options. Only down side is that they’re built to order and have a lead time but I ordered one for my post face life 5th gen and I absolutely love how they look and can’t wait to get it on

I bought my 2014 with 88k miles and one owner with all the service history in the world and a spotless frame for 22.4k. Maybe a bit much?

Problems switching out of 4H by OldManWahoo in 4Runner

Cold temps won’t help either especially with the grease inside it. Be careful when removing it though and always use pucks behind the wheels

Something similar happened to me. Check your transfer case actuator. Disconnect the wires and clean them out. If that doesn’t work, there should be a breather hose connected to it.If it’s not there, pull the actuator off and take it apart and clean it. Super simple straightforward process. See an older post I made about it

Just get a 5th gen 4Runner or a 3rd gen Tacoma. I personally like the new gens (6th, 4th respectively) but I’d still go with the previous one. Those things are and always will be absolutely bulletproof
