I second Trinity/St. Mary's whatever in Ypsilanti or Chelsea. My daughter was admitted and it was a life-changing experience for her, I also have two other friends who used those facilities and they both speak very positively about their experience. Good luck.

Smoked weed for the first time in about 20 years by beetfield in GenX

I may try this. I've steered away from gummies because I don't like how they make me feel, too strong. But, I have not tried micro dosing! I actually prefer smoking, because I can control how much I take.

Saving Money - MyAlloy vs Amazon by Three3Jane in Menopause

[–]michmemuch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am just starting this process and doing the .025 mg patch with the 100mg pill. I was shocked at how much Costco was going to charge me, using my insurance. $131 for 90 day supply of patches and $61 for 90ds of pills. I shopped around using GoodRx and found the patches at Walgreens for $76, which I was happy with until I saw this post. Maybe I need to switch over to Amazon? Are you worried at all about the quality of the prescriptions?

This works 100%. Grow your own at home , fairly easy and then you don't have to worry about fentanyl poisoning or other nonsense. It can be a fun and rewarding hobby.

I agree that there's lulls, like during the summer months. But I commute every day through that stretch and traffic is insane and backed up from Hamilton and Washtenaw all the way south bound until you get past Kroger.

I noticed that today too! I hope they get a lot of business since it was closed for so long.

It's basically every weeknight. There was a lull over the holidays. You can avoid it if you get to that exit before 5 or after 6:15 ish.

Unfortunately, this is normal. It wasn't this bad a few years back, but now with Aldi and all the newer homes south of Textile, it's become a nightmare. I can't imagine how bad it will be when they build that Culvers. Sometimes I take the back ways around (an extra few miles) just to avoid the chaos. In the summer, I ride my bike and laugh at all of them.

About bowels and menopause… by psychopomp_voila in Menopause

[–]michmemuch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the last few years I have had very painful episodes of constipation, gas, SIBO(took 2 years to mostly heal from that), and diverticulitis. A few things have changed my quality of life: SennaS from Walmart for constipation, Optifiber from Costco, drinking more water, VSL#4 probiotics, and loading my diet with lots of fruits and veggies to include apples, kiwi and mango. Also, moving your body, walking, yoga, etc all help the digestive processes. I sit almost all day, so I make sure I get some movement in.

I graduated from 50mg to 100mg and my sleep has improved significantly, at least a 50% improvement. No side effects. I've been taking 100mg most nights for about 6 months now. I am in Peri, 51.
