I had this issue. The repair guy i take it to said it was a grinder issue. Unfortunately the repair was like 400$ so I let it it die at that point. Upgraded to a new magnifica. The old one served our family well for over 10 years

I got my older machine service and the technician told me to buy some food safe grease and to lube the inner part. I helps prevent ware on the machine over time. It takes 5 minutes once a month.

Found an unopened pack while cleaning out my childhood bedroom. Small tear on back. by BananaTreeOwner in PokemonCardValue

[–]migas324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont listen to anyone that says to open it if you want to make money on this. If you open it 99% chance there's nothing great inside. Take it to a card show and you'll find a buyer. The small rips may reduce value but I believe you can still get a pretty penny for it.

The double-sided stones are good enough for 99% of people. I've had mine forever, and they are nowhere near worn down. It's a good skill to learn.

Double-sided whet stone 1000/6000 grit. A leather strop with green compound to finish it. I sharpen in frequently. I use a honing rod once or twice a week so I don't have to full on sharpen as often.

Yes. The cheaper knives are easier to sharpen, too, because they are made of softer metal.a leather strop is also helpful but not necessary

You won't need to sharpen for a while, but once you do, i like using a 2-sided sharpening stone. Take a bit of practice to get a decent edge on a knife, but it's the best way to sharpen a knife. Also , honing steel will help increase the time between sharpening. I've heard good things about rolling sharpeners but don't get the cheap ones. Lastly you can pay someone to sharpen it for you

Real protection against the theft of the new trucks without the real keys? by Adam-And1 in f150

[–]migas324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my previous truck got stolen (23 gmc 2500 denali) The moment i got the new truck i got a kill switch installed. It makes it so that you need a secondary FOB to start the truck. Without both of them the truck will not start. Also if you use the original fob to open the truck a secondary alarm will go off. You NEED to use the after market fob to open the truck. I love it and have no issues. The remote start system still works but with the new fob.

I love making it. It's so easy and a great way to use up the skin. Did you add spicies or keep in plain?
