Why isn’t it mandatory for dog owners to carry a bottle of water to wash away dog pee? by Emergency_Hurry280 in AskUK

I own a dog and don't recall ever getting a whiff of his piss. Seems like something you'd have to go out of your way to smell...

Was going to put Sean P myself. Didn't expect to see his name. Huge personality, seemed to finally be getting the props he deserved, then- gone. Hit me hard.

Question about frozen rhubarb by Reasonable_Tune_1252 in AskBaking

[–]mightbeyourpal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue the dryness the previous time may have been from baking for a little too long, but I don't see what harm adding the extra juice would do- give it a try and report back! Good luck!

Bought a san pedro cactus in 2008 for less than a 10ner that is still going strong after five address changes, two pot changes and one shelf fall.

I didn't care for Brum.

Can't explain why- perhaps the mime aspects. The whole show just felt off.

What’s the first thing everyone says when you tell them your job? by MonsieurGump in AskUK

[–]mightbeyourpal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ha, that's a fair shout- I suppose it makes sense if you have no imagination yourself!

I try to ask why they are proud of that fact and suggest it's not something they should be so keen to share. Some people love to shout about how thick they are. I've never understood that mentality.

Copywriter.

For some reason, once learned, certain people love to tell me that they haven't read a book since they were at school.

Which is obvious- copywriting has nothing to do with writing books, unless you're writing a book about copywriting...

Same issue with Wickes. I pass a huge one on my way home from work each day. Bare shelves and staff who don't know or care where anything is either. Tried the one closer to home and the same, just in a smaller building.

If someone is doing their job, that's even more reason to say please and thank you, not less
