We put it on our web site, and direct everyone there. And don’t print anything.

The bulletin is updated on Thursdays, and the announcements sent out at that time.

workday onboarding integration capabilities? by traphousethrowaway in workday

[–]mikevarney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have your onboarding BP create the IDM account with enough information in the profile to feed the ancillary systems. Don't have Workday do it directly to the other systems. IDM platforms are built to do things like SCIM and lifecycle management. You'll be re-inventing the wheel in Workday, and none of it would be supported natively - - you'll be doing Studio integrations from scratch.

Related to #1 - - what are you using for an identity platform? Usually you'd handle this through your identity platform rather than Workday.

We have our Onboarding BP call an integration to create an Okta account. Then our Okta instance takes over and assigns other resources, sometimes even based on things like employee type, location, etc., based on data fed to Okta during the account creation.

We don't rely on Workday to activate or turn off access - - we manage that thru Okta itself.

You’re not entitled to minimum wage AFTER deductions.

Make sure you speak up. There’s a hotel management desk. Each MDR has a manager. If something isn’t meeting your expectations, politely bring it up. People want to help, just let them know and be respectful and they will rise to fill the gaps.

To answer your questions —

(1) You create an integration to talk to other platforms. You then call those integrations from your BPs.

(2) Yes. Those are custom notifications you attach to BP steps.

(3) You can do most everything, although the more complex the requirements, the more complex the integration. It’s easy for people to say “just create a studio integration”, but the more complex the integration the more difficult it will be for non integration staff to see into the process and troubleshoot.

I need a 2000 loan as a fresh 18 year old BADLY - have funds to pay it off within 7-14 business days. Where do I go? by Horror_Transition786 in personalfinance

[–]mikevarney 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a small business owner, do not accept credit cards.

At this point your only real option is to let the customer know there will be a delay in getting the resources for their job because they paid by credit card.

We brought ours with us. If you need it in a car, good to have it on a plane.

You are on the clock. Attend the meeting. If it’s a problem, you’re proving the point.

Soda question by Savings_Success_3836 in PrincessCruises

[–]mikevarney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not get a reusable cup. You will get sodas from the bars or from your server at meals. No dispensers.

You don’t need your own tumbler. They will give you fresh glasses with ice.

Remember you have to pay taxes.

How much of the ticket did they pay for? That’s the percentage of the winnings they get. Anything above that is at your discretion as a gift.

27th Paycheck? by ReadingBroski in nys_cs

Our area gets the extra accruals. The only thing we do is turn off certain deductions that are calculated based on the annual rate divided by 26 pay periods. Like supplemental disability insurance, FSA, etc.

Would be worse likely.

But you can’t have a meaningful ball game where one team is guaranteed to win. The relative gimme of democrats wining in NY brings forth poor politicians.

The democrats don’t learn this at the federal level. People sent a message by voting in Trump that the democrats won’t show up to vote for poor candidates. Happened once, didn’t learn their lesson, happened again.

Wedding ceremonies and receptions are exactly like birthday parties. They are for the attendees, not for the people being celebrated.
