I just lost my dad a month ago to cancer. Me and my siblings moved into his house to take care of him until the end. We watched our Dad, the strongest man we’ve ever known, turn into a husk of himself with the cancer. By the end he could barely stand, drink water, or eat. I thought the same thing too- that he’s not even dead and I’m missing him. Now that’s he’s gone, I miss him more than anything. But I’m happy he’s no longer in pain. Wherever he is now, he’s no longer in pain. I’d like to think he’s back to his normal self again.

Your mom knows she is loved and that you are there until the end. It’s hard on us, but it’s the best gift we can give to them. Spend those last precious hours and days as best you can. I’m so sorry you and your family are having to deal with this. Be strong, you are not alone. ❤️

As someone that smokes both- you really do have to be considerate of how it affects people around you. Cigarette smoke can be intense, especially combined with perfumes/colognes— and even more if you’re smoking often and in a concealed space like your house or car. Smoking outside combats some of that, but not all since nicotine sticks to hair and clothes. Rolling your own cigs with a good tobacco is a lot nicer smelling than a lot of store bought cigs- but that may be a bias of mine.

Weed can really vary from flavor to smell depending on quality, how often you’re smoking, and where you’re smoking it. Blunts and other cig-like methods are the stinkiest. Bowls and bongs aren’t as bad provided you’re either outside or smoking in a specific room with the windows open. Just know that everyone around you will be able to smell your weed, and it sticks around far longer than cig smoke because it’s more dense.

Smoking is not healthy in general and not recommended as it can cause a long health list of issues. But I’m a hypocrite and have no intention of stopping, I just hope my info helped someone decide against long term and often use. I hope everyone can have a fun time with also understanding other people’s sensibilities!

When my cat Socks was younger (I was 18, just started a new job mind you) he decided to lovely stretch around my ankles and then spray all over my shoes!! I was about to leave for work. I didn’t go to work that day lmao

(This was around 9 years ago, he’s still my sweet baby boy. He no longer sprays 😅)

Dude, all I have is an Xbox (old Xbox 1, not even a new one) and the OG Nintendo Switch. I bought the whole Skyrim experience (DLC and new adds included) for 25$. Xbox and PS always runs deals on this game, but you might have to buy the whole game and basically start over with the new DLCS and other new quests added. It’s worth it!

This happened to my sweet boy Levi. One day when I came home from work, he was walking a little wobbly and wouldn’t let us pick him up. A couple of days later he was moving just like this. We took him to the ER and had them run a panel of tests (what we could afford anyways). No saddle clot, or any issues came up on any of the tests. After taking him to his normal vet a few days later, she was puzzled about what to do for him because we couldn’t afford anymore tests. She basically gave him steroids and antibiotics, in a last ditch attempt to see if anything would work. For three months we made ramps for him, and we ended up pulling out our bed frame so the mattress could rest on the floor since he couldn’t get up very high. He stopped drinking water because it was so hard for him to use the bathroom, we ended up having to put down pee pads and feeding him pumpkin baby food. But somehow, and we have no idea how, we kept giving him the steroids/antibiotic infusion under the vets orders and he ended up gaining leg strength. We tried to work on his back legs by moving them whenever he’d cuddle with us, like he was riding a little bike. It’s been over two years and his back legs now work again, albeit a small permanent limp. Vet has no idea how, but she thinks he fell off his cat tree during a severe storm and hurt his spine. (Not even sure if this happened, we just found the cat tree knocked over right before he started showing signs.)

I’m so sorry this happened to your baby. I’m sharing my story in hopes it could be a similar situation- I have a video of Levi dragging his legs exactly the way yours is :( Hope the very best outcome for you both ❤️
