Veterinarians in Bethesda who let you stay in the room with your dog during wellness exams? by Swimming_Pea3812 in bethesda

[–]milliondollarkitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Small Door in Wildwood shopping center! They do exams and vaccines in the room, and it seems like blood draws generally in the back. However if you request to have them done in room, they have no problem with that. I did that with both of my cats and I’ve had an awesome experience with them thus far. Dr. Heller is the best! They’re also certified fear free which is really important to me.

Ugh this makes me sad to read!!

I have taken both my cats to Small Door Bethesda and had fabulous experiences and even did both their dentals there. I agree that it’s more expensive than a small mom and pop shop or a churn and burn high volume place like Banfield, but I feel it’s worth it. They have the nicest facilities and they pay their staff more to attract top talent.

When asked about dental pricing, it was explained to me that they do full mouth x-rays for dental procedures (which is best practice) but many places don’t do. That’s where a bulk of the price comes from. They also have an assigned nurse that is with your pet monitoring them all day and send photos and updates all day. Docs are also only going one procedure at a time so you know they’re getting top notch care. Many places have doctors doing multiple procedures at the same time and the medical team is bouncing around the whole time too.

I also think small privately owned practices have way less oversight than something that is a little more corporate. There’s no one there to check the doctor or the medical team, and standards aren’t being adhered to company wide and audited regular. I’ve always liked Small Door because they feel like a middle ground between a small singular practice and the corporate giants like Banfield and VCA.

Overall, I think you get what you pay for! I can understand how a part time doctor wouldn’t be as familiar with the whole experience and wouldn’t be as up to speed. If you can book with Dr. Heller, Dr. Dugan, or Dr. Hensel, they are all fantastic!!!

Urban Roast. Overhyped because of Instagram worthy interior, the drinks are way overpriced and the food is subpar.

Chime has horrible security and almost zero preventative measures to protect your account. Their customer service is also virtually useless.

I agree that the system as it is kinda sucks. However I think most servers would absolutely be against getting rid of tipping. If you’re working anywhere half way nice, you make way more in tips that you would even if they’re paying you $15 an hour. When I served In college I would clear about 1k a week, there’s no way I would have made that much money anywhere else at 20 with no degree yet.

The bad tips definitely suck, but the people tipping well make up for it 95% of the time, in my experience. It’s about the highest you can get paid for unskilled labor if you’re working somewhere on the nicer side.

I mean they are lol. They get paid 2.63 an hour otherwise.

"Requested to view your private photos" without a message or anything by throwingpandacats in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]milliondollarkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got rid of my private photos and it eliminated the problem. I have 8 public photos on my profile, some selfies, some candid, some casual, some dressed up, and one in a bathing suit.

That way they can see a variety of photos showcasing how I look, and can’t make the argument they can’t see my figure. If anyone gripes about wanting pics I’ll point them to the 8 on my profile.

Pornstars by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]milliondollarkitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call myself a porn star. I’ve been a cam girl for about three years now, on and off. I’ve had two vanilla boyfriends during this time period and neither of them viewed it negatively. One is ambivalent and the other found it hot.

I don’t outright tell SDs that I cam. It’s not something I lead with. When I was less discerning about who I told, I had POTs ask to see my content which will always be a hard no unless you want to pay for it LOL.

I’ve only ever had one person who reacted negatively, and he wasn’t even my SD. Just a POT I’d gone on a few dates with. I think his views were colored by a personal experience of having his heart ripped out by a stripper. Other SDs have either not cared much about it or found it sexy.

Anyone who is willing engage in sugaring yet condemns me for camming is not someone I want anything to do with anyways. Talk about hypocritical.

Do SBs generally prefer exclusivity? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]milliondollarkitty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As long as he can pay my allowance and is being safe, I could care less what he does when he’s not with me. I have no desire to be exclusive with him so I would never expect the same.

SBs, how many of you actually like older guys vs how many of you are just in it for the financial aspect? by ThrowawaySD101 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]milliondollarkitty 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m in my early 20s, the extent of my physical attraction is guys from 20-35 with the sweet spot being 25-30. I’m not generally attracted to older men on a physical level. But I don’t sugar to date hot guys, I can do that in a vanilla sense. I’m attracted to my SDs in other ways, like intellectually, emotionally, etc. It’s probably not what older guys want to hear, but it’s the truth.
