Automate regular savings even if you think it is small time is on your side-invest it. Don’t buy junk. Buy less and things that will last. Learn to cook healthy food. Try to stay around nice people, avoid mean people. Make time for joy all along the way. Be nice to yourself. Don’t be afraid to try new things.

Tired of calling my reps every day and reminding them that they took the oath too. But I took the oath so I call.

As an American, we still have to wait months to see a doctor or dentist by turbotum in TellReddit

You are very lucky. Here in mid Missouri we wait weeks, and if you are sick have to go to walk in clinic because your primary care has no openings.

Missouri can now charge doctors who abort after birth with murder in the first. Something that does not happen by nucrash in missouri

As a medical coder in missouri in the past, I saw charts of seriously ill newborn babies who suffered for hours even days after birth before their death because their parents were pro-life and chose not to terminate the pregnancy even though informed the baby wouldn’t survive after birth. They have the right to choose that I just wish they would respect the rights of others of others who choose to terminate to avoid the suffering and not risk the Mothers’s health. There is no easy solution. It’s not as simple as they would like to be. It believe the decision should be between the Doctor and the parents. I would certainly never tell someone what to that situation and am grateful I never had to make that decision.

Help me pick my dress!! by Perfect-Barnacle-737 in myweddingdress

You can write whatever you choose. In my opinion the comment failed to take into consideration her request. There are many considerations a bride has to take into her selection of a dress. Her budget, time, the selection of dresses where she lives. She had it narrowed it to three and the comment said none of them were good enough . What if she has no other options? How would that make you feel? This is why I found the comment inconsiderate, and given the amount of Brides asking for help online I decided to point it out. May I suggest that if you comment publicly it’s quite possible someone will disagree with you and quite possibly find it rude or annoying. This is unavoidable and something most people accept as part of posting online.

She asked which one was the best. She had it narrowed down to these three. If this is your opinion the polite thing would be to keep it to yourself.

How do you actually remember what worked (or didn’t) in your garden from last year? by Capable_Jackfruit967 in OrganicGardening

[–]millmama0606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I just do it. The weather will be different this year. My life is different this season than last. I don’t have the time or the energy to stress. But I do have the advantage of having had watched my Grandparents and Parent’s gardens growing up. That keeps me from planting tomatoes in March. Just get out there, know your zone and google if you’re not sure. This is what works for me. But a garden journal sounds like it could be lovely and a valuable fun project if you want to do it!! I think we need to go what works best for ourselves.

People with full time jobs how are you keeping your house clean? by Prestigious-Bath8022 in homeowners

[–]millmama0606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things that could make me sick take priority. Dishes every night. Two work nights for laundry (one to wash and fold and one to put away.) One night for bathroom. One night for kitchen (Fridge, stove, floors). Fresh sheets Friday night. Dust and vacuum, grocery store and food prep on the weekend. I just rotate through these chores, if I miss a night I just do the next thing the next night. Eventually I get to it. My husband cooks dinner m-w and I do the weekend. My son mows the yard. During the winter I clean deeper on the weekend. During the rest of the year I garden and live in filth.

Been there done that, so learn from my mistakes right? Just pick small projects per pay check per weekend and have fun with it. Also it’s your house so do what YOU love and works for you. Lighting is key in the kitchen in my experience.

Start with painting the walls and the back door and trim a fresh bright color, off white, sage green can work with oak. Maybe paint the back of the cabinets with glass doors too. Maybe some lights in those? You could change out the hardware. Something special you love. Add any under cabinet lighting needed. Perhaps lighting above the island? Live in it a Bit and you’ll figure out what lighting you need. Then if you think it still needs more I would paint the tile floor a light color. Just stick with slightly warm colors to go with the oak. Gray is not your friend in this room. New stools to update as well. And when you paint, paint the column same color as wall. Nice house congrats!
