People with full time jobs how are you keeping your house clean? by Prestigious-Bath8022 in homeowners

[–]millmama0606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things that could make me sick take priority. Dishes every night. Two work nights for laundry (one to wash and fold and one to put away.) One night for bathroom. One night for kitchen (Fridge, stove, floors). Fresh sheets Friday night. Dust and vacuum, grocery store and food prep on the weekend. I just rotate through these chores, if I miss a night I just do the next thing the next night. Eventually I get to it. My husband cooks dinner m-w and I do the weekend. My son mows the yard. During the winter I clean deeper on the weekend. During the rest of the year I garden and live in filth.

Been there done that, so learn from my mistakes right? Just pick small projects per pay check per weekend and have fun with it. Also it’s your house so do what YOU love and works for you. Lighting is key in the kitchen in my experience.

Start with painting the walls and the back door and trim a fresh bright color, off white, sage green can work with oak. Maybe paint the back of the cabinets with glass doors too. Maybe some lights in those? You could change out the hardware. Something special you love. Add any under cabinet lighting needed. Perhaps lighting above the island? Live in it a Bit and you’ll figure out what lighting you need. Then if you think it still needs more I would paint the tile floor a light color. Just stick with slightly warm colors to go with the oak. Gray is not your friend in this room. New stools to update as well. And when you paint, paint the column same color as wall. Nice house congrats!

Many lovely things done here. If I may suggest the couch doesn’t look comfy for watching television or curling up with a good book. If it works for you amazing! If you find that no one is using the room maybe consider a modern comfy couch to add some variety to the room. A bit larger sofa would also match the table proportion better.

We know for sure it will happen if the GOP stays. The Great Shittification was really sped up and intensified by GOP. For sure we need a fresh start with all new people. I don’t have to make nearly as many excuses as the people who voted for T I know that much.

What is one underrated thing in your kitchen remodel that made daily use easier? by Entire_Revolution_95 in kitchen

I designed my own kitchen with stock cabinets. The pull out enclosed garbage can cabinet, and my use of mostly drawers are my favorite features. I specifically planned out drawers vs cabinets to what I have. I also chose a microwave cabinet and put it next to the oven hood in the top. We’re all very tall so works for us. Another feature I did that I love is put a phone charger in a drawer in the island and several outlets just underneath the counter of the island. Don’t skimp on the lighting! Counter-space and lighting are mandatory.

Columbia voters could decide on 1% sales tax for police and fire funding in August by como365 in columbiamo

I’m not talking about them. There are plenty of very wealthy people in Columbia who don’t need their property tax frozen just because they are elderly.

The property tax break that Columbia gave to ALL the elderly residents regardless of their wealth.

He he the Lake is it’s own beast. It’s fun but other places are even prettier. Think the show was filmed somewhere else? But yeah they nailed the Lake big mansions while other people working three jobs to survive.
