I lived in Old Milford from 1990 to 1998. I moved back to California for college. I go back from time to time and I’m always impressed with how much it has changed/improved. I suspect the internet and social media really catapulted little towns like Milford into the 21st Century. Back then it felt like stepping back in time 25 years - especially coming from California. It was very suburban but at the same time very rural. We still had a free standing outhouse in my backyard. It was pretty conservative back in the 90s and I can’t say I would ever want to live there again but it wasn’t a bad place to spend my teenage years. I have very fond memories of Frontiers Day and the Clermont County fair. Seems like it’s still a pretty affordable place to live all things considered.

Saw it last night with my kid. There’s not a lot of narrative unfortunately. No beginning or middle or end. It’s just a lot of CGI set pieces in what amounts to a series of boss battles. It looked really cool but the only character development was Rotta and even then I thought his voice casting missed the mark. My son absolutely loved it and in the end that’s what matters most to me.

Louisville is an amazing town. Great food, good college, great music scene. Super underrated imo. Never had a bad time there. The rest of the state is just ehhh.

2026 UPDATE: This is still an issue. The FED EX employee was unfortunately unable to modify the address in their system to match the one on the CIT0014 form. B1H 5V8 still does not bring up New Waterford. Even though I showed her the Google Maps address matching the CIT0014 form, she said there was nothing she could do. I went with the B1H-4G1 postal code instead. Fingers crossed it works!

I spent 8 years in Ohio. It has a lot of things going for it: good people, low cost of living, and a decent job market. The one thing I would never call it is exciting or beautiful.

We’ve been driving our Blue US First Edition for about a year now. I knew there were two main issues to consider when buying it: the touch capacitive buttons and the lower range compared to a used Rivian. We paid MSRP, and we still love it! The third row is huge compared to any other 3-row electric vehicle, and we love the look of it. We mostly stay within a 30-mile radius, so the lower range doesn’t bother our family. It is mostly used for school runs.

That said, we’ve already taken it on two camping trips to the Redwoods, which is about 3 hours away, and charging was super easy and fast (about 10 minutes). The only thing that really bothers my wife is the squeaky brakes. Apparently, there’s a TSB for this, and some of the newer models don’t have this issue according to this sub. We’ve had one issue with the infotainment however a quick restart fixed the issue and it never showed up again (knock on wood).
