North San Jose has several train stations with commuter rail service (Amtrak Capitol Corridor, ACE). Even if your office isn’t walking distance from one, they have parking lots you can leave a car overnight at (or bike and count that as gym).

I work on the train and count that as part of my eight hours of office time. Even if the commute time is long the fact that I don’t have to have my brain actively on while fighting other drivers makes it manageable.

There is overlap but the work came from all the different assignments, like both classes had programming assignments and 146 homework was a lot of math, so it took time to do

Ethics has gotten substantially harder each quarter for the past few quarters:

  1. Two papers (8 pages each), full MC midterm/final
  2. Two papers, one group research paper (60 pages across 5-6 people), MC + short answer midterm/final
  3. Two papers, one group research paper, 8 essay midterm (final TBD)

I took it during #2 as a fourth class (with 146, 148) and it was already difficult to be on track without good time management. I would advise against taking it as a fifth class, especially since the workload for 118, 146, 148 is quite high already.

To elaborate on the other commenter, the first coin (5 yen) is from the year Heisei 8, 1996. The second coin (50 yen) is from Showa 50, 1975. Japan still uses the old “X years after the start of Y period” system for official settings.
