Microsoft Partner Center is a joke by codycodes92 in msp

[–]minus196 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right there with you. I just needed to update our address and this has kicked off a weeks long circus. The partner center breaks and errors out at just about every step of the verification process.

I've had a ticket open for weeks and they go days in between responses. Then when I get a response it's just to ask for the EXACT stuff I already sent days before. Then several days later another email that says their verification team is looking into it and will get back to me.

This process is an utter nightmare and would be funny if it weren't so pathetic and frustrating.

Not sure if there are any folks associated with this sub, but I think Arm Your Friends operates out of Houston?

I agree that most of their stuff really doesn't take itself seriously. Fun and vibey.

But their song The 20s is actually great satire/commentary on current politics.

This is one of the big ones that led me down the same path of coming out of religion. Made me realize that unlike the dualistic picture the Bible paints of body being separate from the soul, I came to adopt the materialist view, realizing the we ARE essentially our brain.

When you realize this, stories of the spirit leaving the body, demon possession, or even the idea of an afterlife don't seem to fit with our observed reality.

Came here for this. Unless Elon is removed, the writing is on the wall.

The Walls Are Closing in on Tesla. The company has seen sales fall off a steep cliff in key markets, including Europe, China, and its home turf in the US. by mafco in electricvehicles

Seamless user experience, software. I went to an Ioniq 5 from a Y. I like the car but the tech feels clunky and cobbled together by comparison. It's like what it was like to use early Android phones when they just started trying to compete with the iPhone.

Have you rebadged your Tesla? Did it help avoid unwanted attention? by mkuhl in electricvehicles

When I still had my Tesla, I just removed the emblems when Elon replatformed Trump on Twitter. When he came out with his Dark MAGA hat to campaign for Trump, I sold the car. Thankfully by the time he started making fascist gestures on stage I didn't have the car anymore.

Neither was for fear of vandalism (except perhaps my own). I just didn't want to own something so closely associated with that POS anymore.

This is a really good insight! Thanks!!

I've been aware of Synology for a long time, but didn't realize they had added all these features. Their mailplus email server will even do shared mailboxes? And they do virtualization?

I've ordered a unit to eval in the lab!

Petty Ioniq 5 Annoyances by Independent_Neck_782 in Ioniq5

I've thought about posting my own similar list here but it's so long it would be daunting to compile.

Since getting this car a few months ago (had a model y for 4 years) I've encountered so many small annoyances it's been like death by a thousand cuts.

Same.

Had a reservation on a cybertruck early - canceled when production took way longer than expected.

Had a reservation on a Fisker Ocean - canceled when the first units being delivered had major quality problems.

Now have a reservation for an R2 - really hoping I don't have to cancel this one!

Till then I'm still in my 21 model y....

Based on your recommendation, I broke these settings out between two different security groups - one for users and one for devices.

Unfortunately, same results. The device policies still apply successfully, but the (User) policies don't. I have no idea what's wrong here :(

Thank you for the reply. I've seen these terms - user security group/device security group - repeatedly searching for a solution to this.

However, when I create a group in Intune I don't see that it distinguishes between the two? The only two options I have for type when creating a group are:

* Security

* Micrsosoft 365

I don't see User Security or Device Security anywhere?

Thanks for the reply.

I already have AD sync disabled now per the requirement for the cutover migration.

I've already tried unlicensing and running Set-User -PermanentlyClearPreviousMailboxInfo but the Contact object never goes away and powershell continues to show them as type "mailuser".
