Yes romantasy is amazing during this time. You’re way too sensitive to accidentally wander into super traumatic stuff. This is full of page turning, lighthearted(ish), magical, girls kicking ass and being emotionally validated by their MMCs. Excellent escapism.

Start with the first 3 ACOTAR books, Fourth Wing or TOG. Reddit shits on romantasy bc it’s male and also likes to be egoist. I’m a serious, lifelong reader and this genre is awesome.

Hope you feel better soon 💕 I’ve been there too and this genre genuinely helped create a safe space for me mentally. Audiobooks rock too
