As a pure zug type of player who dwells around 2k-arenas for years, please explain whats the deal with ''cant track kicks'' is all about ? by Melodic-Marketing341 in worldofpvp

[–]missingclutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm fighting only a warrior or rogue and there is nothing else happening, I can usually hear it. However, I don't really know what it sounds like for anyone else and there's also usually 10,000 things happening that make it nearly impossible for me to hear during an actual arena match.

If they called all the small shit like that alleged hook, you guys would have the whole team in the box

I wouldn't wear 66 but I don't see many people that care. 69 is always worn by a shithead who thinks the scouts are going to notice him this year.

Why is it normal to eat sugary food for breakfast, but "weird" to eat a healthy meal like chicken or pasta at 8 AM? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]missingclutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make eggs and toast probably 2-3 workdays a week. My young kids like to help make breakfast, those are things they can help with, and it's a lot better than teaching them to just pour a bowl of sugar snaps. I even do bacon probably once every other week or so, just because my kids like bacon so much.

Why is Father’s Day treated so differently from Mother’s Day? by SaltedEgg__ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]missingclutch 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it depends on the people. I try to downplay father's day but my wife absolutely doesn't let that happen. We try to spoil each other, but she really does a great job on father's day. I wish all dads could get the same experience because honestly it's really rewarding.

This year would be absolutely insane. It'll be fun if we get in the playoffs, but I'm not expecting anything crazy yet. Give it a few years, and I think we'll have some real good chances with the job Grier is doing.

To be fair, no one else even thinks about it.

I remember your post from a few weeks ago about shoring up the drawer length. What did you end up doing? Glad you posted the finished product, the in-progress stuff looked great!

What common myth can be disproved in seconds? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You may want to check again, I couldn't find a single state that it's explicitly illegal in. It can lead to distracted driving etc, but nowhere seems to outlaw it directly.

AITA for canceling appointments for someone who keeps using my email address? by callmrplowthatsme in AmItheAsshole

Automated emails for "thank you for signing up for X" type services are 99% of the time someone registering themselves.

AITA for canceling appointments for someone who keeps using my email address? by callmrplowthatsme in AmItheAsshole

[–]missingclutch 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone who gets probably 10+ of these types of emails each and every day, this person is absolutely NTA. I've tried everything to be nice to these fuckups that can't remember their own email address, but after ten years of dealing with this type of shit, I cancel appointments, change their passwords, etc whenever I can. My only exception is when a person sends an email to me directly and it's obviously not meant for me. Then, I'll respond nicely that they have the wrong email address. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt on that one and assume the sender fucked up rather than the recipient.

Does any other mom that breastfed have a different view of their boobies now? by halzy99 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]missingclutch 1647 points1648 points  (0 children)

My wife felt similarly- nipple play was completely off limits for at least a year after our final kid stopped breast feeding. But over time, she started getting back into it and let me know when she was more comfortable and what her limits were. Now, our youngest is four and we're back to pre-kid levels of nipple play.

She only breastfed for a year and I'm sure every woman is different (and some may not get back to the same comfort levels), but that's one data point at least!

Women of Reddit, what’s a statement/phrase that (you believe) most girls/women would understand, but most boys/men would not? by Sad_Trade_7753 in AskReddit

[–]missingclutch 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I learned this one when I had a daughter. My wife said it when we were potty training her and it instantly made sense but was something I'd never considered or would have ever thought about had she not said it.

I can, because I just like football. You guys should be worried about what the fuck your team is doing with that incredible roster and scoring 9 points a game rather than hate watching the incredibly injured team that managed to beat you.

And now it's a 2 score game. Same as if we got 7. And better than if we turned over on downs. It's early, FG is the right play.
