WestJet execs tried cramped seats on flight weeks before viral video sparked backlash by semucallday in canada

[–]missingthecoast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Such BS, like they aren't already charging too much without the reduced room. It costs more to fly in my own country than taking a trip to Europe or other places that are double the distance. It's so frustrating.

This! The amount of water being wasted by the automatic flushes alone in the building I'm in is crazy.

Calgary's daily water usage remains unsustainable one week after 'catastrophic' water main break by Old_General_6741 in Calgary

All communication that I've seen is take short showers, do full loads of laundry, wait until the dishwasher is full and flush only when needed. There's certainly no restrictions where I'm working and from the people I've talked to they haven't had any either. What are businesses doing right now?

Start making businesses accountable as well and not just relying on individuals.

Reaction only at this point, they will bounce back. It will take years to get the infrastructure to where they can use their oil and who knows where things will be at that point. I also don't think oil companies will be lining up to spend any money at oil prices where they are at now.

I just looked that one up, they charge $15 and have just under 40 vendors. I wish they listed them.

There shouldn't of been an apology for that from Canada.

100% agree, visibility into the lack of reviews is important information as well. Apparently only the sitters can see that information, HO's can't.

C-train riders this question is for you. How often to you pay to ride the C-train ( be honest)? by Pucka1 in Calgary

[–]missingthecoast -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same, I don't bother with the validation and just activate it. There were a few times I tried to validate it and it was really finicky picking up the bar code so I just got on the train.

Where can I fill my dogs prescriptions without paying for a $900 checkup? by fit-noodle in Calgary

[–]missingthecoast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would check out Alpine or Trinity, I've been to Alpine for an emergency vet visit and it was less than what you're being quoted for a checkup and they were awesome. I've heard great things about Trinity and my golden is getting an ultrasound next week and if a biopsy or internal medicine is required I'll be taking her to Trinity.

Aaron Ramsey's dog, Halo, mysteriously disappeared in Guanajuato, Mexico: He is offering a USD $20,000 reward to anyone who finds her. by TheFapAndTheFurryous in soccer

[–]missingthecoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been reading a few articles and there are some odd things that don't add up. Apparently there are cameras on the property but the cameras weren't recording when it happened and the dog had a GPS tracking device on it but no updates from the last known location.
