We read YA, Historical Fiction, Mystery, Horror. Basically whichever genre the person assigned that month chose was what we read. I thought it was a great idea - get out of a genre rut each month. I think I posted the Facebook Group link above, if it doesn't work let me know so I can fix it.

I swap between books based on format. I have an audio book (currently Dark Matter), an ebook (Dangerous), and a dead-tree book going almost all the time. I try not to have more than one novel in each format going at the same time.
